Try using a Sitz bath with warm water and a spoon of salt dissolved in it 2-3 times a day and see if this helps.

Hi I would think that Argentum Nitricum should help you. try Taking arg nit 30 c, 3 pills twice daily for a week. it will certainly help you to overcome your anxiety too .

Hope by this time you got the remedy from a Homeopath near to you. If not please consult a homeopath soon.
I had the same or worse than your problem with all your simptoms including bad smell, hemorrhoids, frustration, angry, depression etc. Tried all kind of allopathy madicines until it became too worse and infected my entire rectum down from spinal including a Fistula. Could not walk, sit even suffered to laydown in certain positions. Then the allopath doctors suggested to go for a surgery as they failed with rest of options. Next day I visited a Homeopathy doctor and given the symptoms including the bad smell,etc,etc. Then I didn't believed how it worked on me. After 2 months I am in a position to run a kilometer. Doctor had used a series of medicines time to time depends on the change happening around my problem. Now I am at the course end and using Agaricus as final medicine to line up the skin, rectum etc. Though I remember the medicines I would not put as these medicines may change to person to person, but final word is you will be cured.
Pls not forget to see a doctor in person as they also see your personality, age, gender and meny more details.

I understand your dilemma. First, the medicines for your depression might have something to do with the odor perhaps slowing down the movement of food and causing Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
Second, if you are living alone is there anyone who has access to your food, perhaps placing additives in it. If you are single, please speak to neighbors asking them for info on anyone who enters your home when you are not there. Too many women are becoming sick, dying and their homes being sold.
Third, perhaps your hemorrhoids are really pileswhich will push out through the anus. I had, what I thought were hemorrhoids, but when they were surgically removed,it was a very spongy mass. (There are ususally two of them. They cause pressure on the bladder and also emit an odor especially after bowel movements.
And Fourth, remember that you have control over your body and not vice versa--remember that you are a person made after the likeness of the Creator. May you be blessed.

I have this same problem and have researched it. There is so much tied to my problem. First it sounds as though as you have Candidiasis or 'The Yeast Syndrome' which caused your minor I.B.S. The rectal itching is the yeast or could be parasites which is also tied to Candidiasis.
Unless you see specialist in Candida or IBS meaning a nutritionist regular doctors have no clue about this.
The rectum smell is not coming from your actual rectum but its coming from your mouth from your intestines. Assuming you have what I have, your intestinal flora has been attacked and I imagine the Candida has broken through your intestinal walls - when Candida has taken over for whatever reason the intestinal flora was destroyed. The reason the smell coming from your mouth is when your intestinal flora is destroyed the odor from your intestines travels up and you can smell an entire room up - well at least people around you smell it. I have suffered people making fun of me and many tears over this.
I have suffered for 8 years with this and as far as I know if you change your diet do a yeast cleanse, a metal cleanse and an intestinal cleanse and maybe get a real good highly potent intestinal flora you can beat this. I too have the same problem with my 4 yr old daughter.
When she was young like 2 yr old, i couldn't carry her without underwear since it makes my dress smell bad too.
I was thinking I am a very bad mother whenever i see any mother carrying her child that way. I never told this to anybody since i was embarassed to say this.
Now she is 4 yrs old. But still i don't like it when she sits on something barely.
I never tried any medicine.

After posting my own concern about rectal odor, I decided to experiment. As I had an operation to remove hemorrhoids and had to rub cream on the internal stitches, I decided to rub soap on the inside of the rectum--and it worked! After several days of 'soaping' the smell disappeared.

Wow, I thought I was the only one. Whats worse for me is people think I'm gay because of it, and even though I have a Girl Friend it still effects my social life.
I don't have extreme pain all the time but there is burning sesation and occasionally there is pain but only when my stool is very hard.
The smell part is why people 'say' i'm gay and even though i have no problem with gay people at alot of people still dilike them....
The Doctor gave me Fucidin H cream which i believed helped for a while but the problem is back.
There still is itching and sometimes there is alot of sweat down there Though the sweat part may have nothing to do with it...(ie minght be in my mind)
I haven't tried Zinc or any Homopathy so i'm willing to take any suggestions.

To the original poster, I know you posted some time ago but was wondering if you ever found a solution to your problem. I have the same problem too, have had it off and on for almost 12 years. (no idea why it comes and goes) Lately it has been every day. I get the foul, raw meat/blood smell and sometimes it is closer to a flatulence or feces smell.

ok need to detox as food putrifies in the gut and bowel

After reading from alot of websites, it seem something called 'Anal fistual'. Anybody is agree with it and if you have found any solution to this awful disease. i have been taking medication to remove candida, but so far seem like its not helping at all. PLEASE HELP!!!

I've been living with other people for awhile and as a result I have not taken a bath for almost 2 years only showers.
An urgency has come to me that I should wash 3 times a day and the problem would go away has anyone tried this?

Smells of rectum continously definitely indicate that something ozzing from annus it may be from annal fissure,piles,fistulla and worm infection.Infection deep in annus is the reason for ozzing.Please wash rectum at least 3times daily with sufficient water.If it is seen that annus is ozzing.Our good medicine paeonia off 30 4 pills 4 times a day at an interval of 3to4 hours can be taken for 2weeks.Thanks
