Myocarditis

Hi,
My cousin has been diagnosed with Myocarditis, inflammation of the heart, I think dr.'s said it's virul. He's in ICU now, second time in less than two months. First time the virus attacked on outside layer of heart, he was in the hospital for several days till recovered. Now he's there again, in ICU and the inflammation is in the bottom area of heart. As it is viral, mainstream medical practice can't do much besides monitor him and provide morphine for the pain (he had severe chest pain)
Are there Homeopathic remedies for Myocarditis that can be taken either while he's in hospital or when he's released? My mom says to take B1 but this is just for prevention. Can we give him anything in the meantime??
This is an urgent matter, any advice or experience with this issue is greatly appreciated!
Thank you

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
To Pebbles

I can sense the urgency in your post which no one has responded to up to now.

Quite frankly I must inform you that I have never treated Myocarditis before but feel that Arnica 30c can help your patient. Arnica has an unusual property of promoting the flow of blood which it does by filtering it in some mysterious manner.

You can give him 3 pellets sublingually every 2-3 hours for the first 24 hours when he should hopefully experience some improvement in his cardiac pain.

You will then change over to the Wet dose which you can give him every 4 hours.

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:

Order the remedy in the Ethanol pack also referred to as Liquid Dilution in some countries.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard before you sip a capfull which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this shaking must be done every time before a capful of the bottle or a large teaspoonful of the remedy is sipped as directed.

You can give him Arnica to be taken twice daily after the crisis is past as this will hopefully prevent the recurrence of any future attacks which you state have affected your cousin twice already in 2 months.

Please record his response on this forum as often as possible as I am interested to learn if my therapy aka 'Joepathy' can help him.

I would like to add that if you cannot get the Liquid Dilution in Ethanol, you may use the standard pellets preferably made by a recognized manufacturer like Boiron, WHP, or Ainsworths depending in which country you live in. The pellets are not as effective as the Ethanol pack but can be used immediately.

Hi Joe,
I really want to thank you for taking the time to read my post and respond so promptly and in detail! Thank you :)

The truth is the person here with myocarditis is not actually my cousin but my boyfriend's cousin, with that being said it makes it difficult to suggest to him a homeopathic treatment for his illness without feeling like I'm imposing on another families 'beliefs' or personal business, whatever you might call it. Anyway, I forwarded your response to my boyfriend to which he also said thank you. He said he passed the message on to his mother as I'd requested him to do (I offered to pick up all the remedies should they want to try this option). Anyway, I haven't heard from any of his family regarding this so at the time being we can't try out your advice, but as my bf's cousin is an adult, in his early 20's, he can make the decision on his own, and when I see him next I will discuss it with him instead of the others and hopefully he'll make the right choice!

Just an update, I think they took him out of ICU and put him in a 'lower' level, but are still monitoring him and should be doing another ecogram test (think that's what it's called) in 6 weeks. The doctors said that when released, for the next 3 months he can't do any physical activity other than walking. They say they don't know yet how much damage is done to his heart. As for the virus, I don't know if it's still there.

Anyway, will get back to you in soon time hopefully.

Thanks again Joe,
Pebbles

Just a note, before I even posted my query on this forum, I did a google search for myocarditis homeopathic remedy, and something that came up was Antimonium Arsenicosum, any info on this?

As I stated in my first post I had never treated a patient who presented Myocarditis and I suggested Arnica which I have used extensively for ailments not mentioned in the standard classical Repertories and Materia Medicas with outstanding success.

Arnica for the control of Diabetes is an extraordinary example.

I have not studied this disease and if you have found some reference to Antimonium Arsenicum for it you can seek advice from other Homeopaths more qualified than me before you suggest it.

However I still feel that Arnica in the Wet dose can help your friend.
