pcos

I am 33 years old and have been diagnosed with PCOS since I was 23 years old. At first I had irregular menses every 2 weeks, but have been regular like clockwork and ovulate every month for several years

Symptoms:
--Weight Gain
--Excess Hair (face, breasts, but minimal hair on legs)
--Crave salty foods (chips, popcorn etc) & Carbonation
--Extremely heavy & long cycles, I bleed for 7 days and have to use the maximum strength of everything, changing multiple times a day
--Also get heavy clotting some cycles
--Extremely painful cramping during menses and at ovulation time, usually worse on the right side
--Heat applied to area helps relieve symptoms
--Pre-diabetic status but insulin normal, just the fasting levels are high normal (90's).
--Insulin Resistance
--Infertile (hubby & I have been trying for 5 years).
--Not sure this is related but I am highly anxious, stress easily & fidgety, especially in the car while driving (worse in bad weather/cold)

Medications:
Metformin 500mg 2x day
Zyrtec 10mg 1x day (for allergies
Wellbutrin (for Bipolar))
Neurontin (for Bipolar)
Also take supplements (Vit D --deficient, Fish Oil, Vit E, Glucosamine/Chondroitin, DGL Liccorice root for GERD.

Family History:
Mom has Diabetes, Grandfather had it as well, and 2 of her siblings have Diabetes
Bipolar runs in my family
High Blood pressure runs in my family (however mine is normal).

Recently (August) went on a Grain free/sugar free diet at advice of Dr for both myself and my husband (who is grain intolerant & diabetic), still not losing weight despite eliminating grains/carbohydrates
