Dear Reva V,
In order to answer your question, I would like to quote first from our literature:
Arnica for Female Complaints from Guiding Symptoms:
- Pains like from spraining in ovarian region (groin), obliging her to walk bent. θ Ovarian diseases.
- Metrorrhagia after coition. θ Prolapsus uteri.
- Bruised sore feeling remains after a hurt in abdomen, cannot walk erect. θ Prolapsus uteri.
- Prolapsus uteri caused by a concussion leaving a sore, bruised feeling in uterine region, which prevents her from walking erect.
- Ulcers of uterus with a tendency to bleed.
- Menses generally too soon ; nausea in epigastrium.
Menses too frequent and profuse. θ Prolapsus uteri.
- Bloody discharge between menstrual periods. θ Prolapsus uteri.
- Blood bright red with mixed clots. θ Prolapsus uteri.
- Uterine hemorrhage.
- Labia painfully swollen.
Arnica for Female Complaints from Clarke's Dictionary:
- Discharge of blood from the uterus, between the periods, with nausea
─Excoriation and ulceration of the breasts
─Soreness of the parts after a severe labour
─Violent after-pains
─Erysipelatous inflammation of the mammæ and nipples
─Violent stitches in middle of left breast
─Vomiting of pregnancy
─Threatened abortion from fall, &c
─Feeling as if ftus were lying crosswise
─Tumour of breast.
If we go through the symptoms, it is clear Arnica can be well incdicated in cases of Metrorrhagia / Menorrhagia in case symptoms match. But where are the symptoms matching in this case??
Haemmorhage fitting Arnica has to be bright red, never black. Arnica is a clean remedy and cannot be indicated in cases which show infection or degeneration of epithelia.
So, I would use it in cases of Menorrhagia where symptoms agree.

Hi Neil, The Bleeding finally stopped on Sunday. I do not have enough words to thank you. Can you please advise on what all medicines should I continue taking? Also, my weakness is there....head spins..cannot sleep well...have strong food cravings....Is my neck pain a separate issue or related to this...It has gotten better but still persists. - Magnesia phos 6x
- Ferrum phos 6x
- Calcarea phos 6x
- Kali phos 6x
Take 2 tablets of each of these biochems thrice a day. let me know of your condition in a week.

I was interested to read your post addressed to Niel :

I have great respects for your prescription and I can the principle guiding you to suggest the medicines here.
Just curious, if Arnica works in such cases, will you be open enough to try on your other patients? or you will like to stick to traditional prescribing methods?

Niel's response is interesting as he seems more interested in giving you a lecture by quoting from his literature on the reason why he will not use Arnica in the manner that I do.
I presume that he is a classically trained homeopath and I believe that it because of his classical training that he fails to realize that all his quotes are the observations of one or more classical authors who have recorded their findings as I have done on Arnica and numerous other Homeopathic remedies which I refuse to use under the classical rules (Treat the totality of the symptoms presented by the patient with one remedy).
As you are aware, I take the bull by the horns and treat the patient with the remedy that I have used in the past either on myself or have tested on others and treat the patient on the 'This for that' basis which therapy was once derisively entitled 'Joepathy' by the same classical fraternity. You may like to know that this term Joepathy is now listed on Google and lists over 1280 hits today where many of my choice cases where I have used remedies that are not usually used for ailments are recorded which have proved beyond doubt to have worked in a manner that the classical remedies could never have equated.

I believe that it is this splitting of hairs that is the real reason why the patient is left to suffer so unnecessarily purely because the homeopath refuses to use the obvious remedy even on an experimental basis as his hands were tied in his college to only use the classical diktat of treating the symptoms the patient presents instead of the ailment.
The reason why I have achieved some success even at the cost of being labelled a maverick is because I have had the courage to deviate from the classical path and you and other homeopaths are the best judges of whether my Joepathy has worked.
In the case of this patient you will observe that she seem to have been frightened off this thread and she perhaps continues to lose blood which I am convinced will be stopped within 24 hours if she uses Arnica as prescribed by me above.

Hey Joe,
I started using Arnica Montana 30 wet dose from 25th Dec, 2010. I am from a homeopathic family as well and every one in my family was doubtful about the way of using this remedy. They don¡¦t believe that only 3 drops in large quantity of water will do something. But I have unknown faith in this remedy so I started using it. During 1st month, after one week of periods bleeding started again but only for two days instead of a whole week and than after 25th Jan till now, during 2nd month, after one week of periods, there is no bleeding. I am so surprised and happy that I can¡¦t explain my happiness in words. I am so much thankful to you because you suggested me this wonderful remedy. Not only me but also my 14 years old cousin Fiza, was facing the same problem. I told her the same remedy and now after using this remedy just for 15 days her problem is solved as well.
My backache is also much better but not completely finished. I was also doing exercise daily. Please tell me that how long I have to use it, now I will start using 3rd bottle from tomorrow. And is it possible that when I stop using this remedy my problem get started again? Also I have another problem that my hairs are pure black in color and they are turning into white from last 3 years. I am so much upset for this coz I am just 23 and I don¡¦t like dyeing etc at all. I have used BM 116 Grey hair premature drops, but it doesn¡¦t work in my case. Plz suggest me another amazing remedy like before. I¡¥ll be really thankful to you. And in the end one thing I must say, ¡§Joepathy is hard to believe initially but if you have faith in it, its end results are miraculously unbelievable.¡¨ º

Hi Neil, Can you please advise on how long I should continue taking the 4 phosphates & Alphalpha Q....my energy level is getting better but it's say 60%, I still do get tired & breathless. I noticed that my feet are getting swollen...was reading about it, and it seems one of the reason is low iron....other than taking iron supplements, any homeo medicine to increase iron level...Appreciate all your input.
