Bell 30c is your remedy to treat your throat. Stop the other remedies that you are taking and use Bell 30c 3 times daily under the tongue and report results.

To stop catching a cold use Ferr Phos 30x. Dose 1 tablet 3/day

To stop catching a sore throat use Bell 30c. Dose 2 pellets 3/day

Please note that you should take the remedies as soon as you get the first signs of the problem starting. It is important to take the remedy for a day after it has stopped the infection to avoid it restarting.

Do keep us informed on how the Bell helps to resolve your problem throat. You should have relief within 6 hours but if you do not notice any relief you can change over to Rhus Tox 30c.

I have been in Homeopathy for 40 years now and it still thrills me to know that a simple remedy that I suggested helped to cure an ailment in a patient. The great advantage of using a Homeopathic remedy is that it can never do you any harm. It can only help you to recover quickly without doing your body any harm like drugs usually do. Antibiotics are the last resort and should only be used on a SOS basis if Homeopathy cannot help.

You should take Bell 30 for 2 more days but in a reduced dosage if your throat feels completely OK. If you are bothered with this same problem, in the future, I would suggest you have a swab taken of your throat near the tonsils and have it cultured to test for Beta Haemolyticus Streptococcus. This is a bacteria that is dangerous and can cause other problems like Rheumatoid Arthritis, and also affect the Heart and Kidneys.

Ferrum Phos is another of my 'discoveries' and is very effective to stop an oncoming cold. You can take just 1 tablet if you know that someone near you has sneezed near you, as a prophylactic. In the case of both Bell for the throat and FP for the nose, they are most effective if used as early as possible when you feel the first symptoms of a problem throat or a problem nose. You should normally notice relief in a few minutes after taking these remedies and it is important to remember that you must use it at least for one day after you are fully recovered from the symptoms of the ailment. I have noticed that the bug gets reactivated when it discovers that the remedy is not present to ward it off. This usage is roughly similar to the use of an antibiotic which you have to use for at least a day after you are free from the symptoms of the disease.

You will be doing your friends a great favour if you promote the use of these simple Homeopathic Remedies which can stop a problem with the throat or the nose by aborting the Virus that starts the ailment, before the bacteria takes over and causes major problems in the lungs with coughing or in the nose by infection of the sinus, both conditions which have to be eventully arrested with antibiotics.

It is possible that the cause of your acute bronchitis was the smoke from your father. I had a similar case where the daughter was having recurrent attacks of Asthma while her father who was a chain smoker was alive when it stopped immediately after his demise. Your son with asthma is a problem and he should be treated by an experienced homeopath who can follow his case.

I am glad to learn that you do not have any major infection of your throat.

I note that you have taken my advice and have used the correct remedies to help your current infection with your cold and your throat.

It is obvious that you do not have any resistance to any invading virus which affects your throat or your nose and it is time that we looked into giving you the immunity that you should normally have.

The Remedy that I recommend you to use is Bacillinum 200 but this remedy must be used with care strictly in the manner that I describe below:

Bacillinum 200 may only be used when you are completely without any symptoms of ill health as there is a tendency for it to aggravate any existing ailment.

Place 4 pellets Bacillinum 200 under the tongue preferably last thing at night 2 hours after dinner. This dose should confer some immunity for your problem with your nose and throat and must be repeated in 2 weeks time. It should not be taken for the next 6 months.

You should notice an increase in your immunity level after you have taken the first dose which should be increased with the second dose.

I am very glad indeed to learn that the Bacillinum is helping you. Please note that your chronic symptons today is the price you are paying for the countless times you have taken antibiotics during your lifetime. If only people realize that absolute damage that an antibiotic creates in their system they would shun them like poison.

You may be interested to learn that I have not taken any antibiotic since 2002 when I was in surgery for my prostate. At 75 years I believe that I have the constitution of a 50 year old because I have not used any drug or antibiotic for the last 15 years prior to surgery and none since. Drugs can certainly relieve the symptoms of an ailment like Tylenol for a headache but the body has a price to pay for that relief. This drug has recently been found to cause Heart problems and God know what else ! Antibiotics are a curse today when one considers the way they are prescribed. I thank God for Homeopathy and owe my life to it and in my own way help people who will listen to its message.

For your son, I believe that I can cure him perhaps permanently, please God. I would like you to get Nat Sulph 6c if possible in liquid form, otherwise in pellets. Please follow the instructions below carefully in the method of its use:

Put just 1 drop or 2 pellets of this remedy into 400ml (8 oz) of bottled water. Hit (succuss) the bottle on the palm of your hand 3 times and pour out a teaspoonful into half a cup of water. Stir the water and give your son just one teaspoonful just one dose every day if he is having any asthmatic wheeze or otherwise every other day when his condition stabilizes. I am confident that his condition will stabilize in a week and that he will be permanently cured in about a month when you can stop the remedy. You can store the bottle in the refrigerator to be used whenever he shows any signs of discomfort.

Please note that when the bottle is banged on your palm it must fizzle like opening a bottle of pop does. This increases the potency of the remedy and is the secret of its efficacy in helping you to overcome your problem. This banging on your palm must be done with every dose.

I know that this sounds like some charm but believe me, it works for Asthma in the case of many parients that I have helped.

If your son is still bothered with acidity problems, you can use the Biochemic salt Nat Phos 6x which is available in tablet form. Dose for a baby is half tablet taken after a meal if he shows any signs of discomfort like crying after a meal. Do not overfeed and try to feed small quantities in small instalments.

Post the response to this therapy, especially his response to Asthma in a week and of course stop all other medications.

Your suggestion of Bell for sore throat is very good, but, I suggest, in case of recurrence, perhaps, the remedy can be taken in liquid form ,as suggested by you, in case of Nat.Sulph. This will increase the potency slightly every time, as you are aware of , and increases the immunity.

Thank you for reminding me about the wet dose method for Bell to cure a recurrent throat problem.

It is just that I am so used to the dry dose method which is more convenient that I did not recommend it for the throat problem as it is usually cured reasonably quickly unlike the Asthma that this poor child is suffering from for which he has taken a variety of remedies after presumably a cocktail of allopathic drugs which would obviously have already taken their toll on his body and left him in a worse state than before.

I am only following Luc's advice in prescribing Nat Sulph 6c for his chronic ailment Asthma and I have 6 adult patients in Colombo who have had chronic Asthma and were on Inhalers some, twice daily who do not use them any more. What is more relevant is that they all seem to be slowly getting cured of their problem and I then suggest that the remedy is used every other day. They have never got to a state when they cannot breathe and have to be rushed to hospital on a SOS basis as in the past after they started on this amazing remedy Nat Sulph 6c succussed which they only started about 2 months ago.

I am however concerned that I am using the same remedy and dosage for an 18 month old baby and this is the first time that I have done so. I decided to do so after some trepidation but I do not think that it can do any harm. The father should watch how the baby reacts and if there is any problem after taking this remedy, he should stop it forthwith and advice me ASAP. I pray to God that this eventuality will not happen.

It is nice to have you back on the forums and I hope that you will find time to post regularly as you used to do. In my case, I am fortunate that I have my 2 sons who are well able to run the family business and I take a back seat and devote more time to Homeopathy, which I find fascinating and very rewarding.

My son had taken the Nat Sulf 12C dry dose two tablets two times a day and the asthma got remarkably better, however, his VF seemed to get worse so I stopped. He is 8 and did not fit profile of nat sulf. I'm wondering if I should try again with the 6C liquid split dose method. What do you think. He fits the make up of a Puls which he is on now with 12C liquid, with some results but not as much as we hoped.

Also, you said wait to take the Bacillium until he has no symptoms. Do you know if that is the case for Carc also? I'm ready to take the Carc but I have an infected finger.

It would have been better if you had started a new thread to avoid confusion. I have been advicing Amitra so far and was at first confused when you mentioned about an 8 year old.

It is obvious that you had overdosed your 8 year old son with Nat Sulph 12c dry dose 2 tablets twice daily. The dose depends on the size of the tablets and I use pellets 3mm diameter and only use 2 pellets for a dose twice daily.

It is remarkable how the split dose method with 6c will help to cure Asthma. The reaction of many of my patients is too good to be true and after many many years of unnecessary suffering when they had used everything from Steroids to Inhalers with and without steroids all of which only gave them temporary relief. However when the asthma came back it was usually more violent.

I have yet a few more remedies that I have used if the Nat Sulph does not help and I have had to use them for only one patient who did not react to Nat Sulph 6c

You also mentioned Bacillinum and as far as I know I did not prescribe it for your son. Please remember that this remedy must not be used indiscriminately and only under expert supervision. Please give more details on your case or is it your son's case who has the Asthma ?

I was talking about my son's case first. He was taking pellets (Boiron) not tablets as I previously said. I will try him on the 6C split dose as you suggest.

As far as the Bacillium, I saw you recommended it for Amitra. You told her wait for any acute symptoms she has to subside first before she takes it because Bacillium has a tendency to make acute things worse.

I was going to take Carc another nosode for myself. I was wondering if the is a general rule when taking nosodes to wait for ailments to subside first before taking or was that just for the Bacillium. Sorry to confuse you. In the future I will start a new post.

I do not recommend that either you or your son takes Bacillinum and in your son's case he must not take this remedy as he has Asthma which will aggravate with this remedy.

You have yet to tell me the reason why you wish to take this nosode.

I would suggest that you start him on the Nat Sulph 6c and report how it helps him in a week or so. I feel confident that he can overcome his Asthma with this therapy which is quite safe to be used in comparison to the usual routine of steroids and other poisonous chemicals that are used to cure a common ailment which seems to be completely mishandled by physicians who do the damage to especially children and leave them maimed for life.

I am now treating 3 cases which have been under medical treatment with Steroids and other drugs for an average of 15 years and it is very satisfying to see how they are all coming around nicely with this same remedy Nat Sulph 6c taken in the split dose method which Dr Luc de Schepper introduced to me as the obvious choice for most cases of Asthma.

Do you consider the Nat sulf a constitutional for the asthma? I know with my son it is miasmic.

Be careful, OK? Asthma can, and does, kill. When a serious asthma attack happens, you may only have 10 minutes before permanent damage is done.

I am grateful to Orume for the timely word of caution in requesting the patient to first check with an allopath as to whether or not their standard treatment, usually compring steroids, is better than Homeopathic remedies in the treatment of Asthma. This is particularly of significance in the case of children.

In the case of adults however this caution need not be exercised as these patients have already gone through the entire gamut of allopathic treatment for many years as those whom I have treated have confirmed and as long as they keep on inhaling the steroids and taking the tablets they prevent any major discomfort in their lives which are in any case dependant on the next whiff of the inhaler.

In contrast it is when the Nat Sulph 6c starts helping them, which is usually in about 2 days after the first dose that the patient is almost immediately able to set aside all the allopathic treatment including the inhalers and tablets and exist solely on the Homeopathic remedy taken in the Split Dose which I feel is the secret of the success that I have observed in the Homeopathic treatment of this ailment.

I would like to place on record that I am only copying the methodology used by Dr Luc de Schepper who visited Sri Lanka a few weeks ago for Tsunami relief work, in the treatment of these Asthmatic patients whom I invited to consult him. The success rate so far is 100% but this only involved chronic cases of Asthma and they were all adults.

In the case of children, I do agree that it is best to be cautious and in the event of any negative reaction being observed, immediate action must be taken by the parents to rush the child to a hospital for treatment.
