May fault totally...I thought it was Aurum but it was Argentum. Aurum Met...but in what potency 30C, 200C?

Also, I know I mentioned this to the doctor for my son's case but I'm not sure it has been mentioned here with my daughter. I not only ate a lot of swordfish and tuna when I was pregnant with my daughter but I also have many teeth with mercury in them (a few that are huge and you can't even see a tooth). Not sure how this fits into your case but I think it is important to note.

Please just tell me what potency and I will order. Thank you.

David,
So how would you like me to proceed? Should I order Aurum for more daughter? If so, please indicate what potency.

Thank you.

David,
As it has been many days since you have replied, can you please tell me if you no longer are taking this case.

As indicated above, I ordered the 1m of Nat Mur but then you were also considering Aurum and so I'm not sure how you have left off with this case.

Thank you.

David,
My daughter will be coming home from college at the end of this week. I still have not heard back from you and still wonder if you are no longer taking this case.

You felt strongly that Aurum Metallicum was the correct remedy but you have still not indicated what potency...30C or 200C.

Not much has changed. I will be able to know more when I see her.

Thank you.

Nat-mur is still the correct remedy as far as I can tell. I suggested Aurum as a back up because we don't get many chances in the year to give her a remedy.

Nat-mur 1M is the prescription, one dose. Aurum 200 can be procured as well and given her to use only when instructed.

Good, I have Nat Mur 1M and will order Aurum Met. 200C ( I do have 30C).

BTW, my daughter tells me last night that she has had that nasal congestion for the last month and that two or three weeks ago she began coughing up yellow phlegm -- only in the morning. The yellow phlegm is only produced in the morning well the nasal congestion is there all day. She thought it was due to all the changes in temperature, so she didn't mention it.

Is Nat Mur still the correct remedy?

Those kinds of symptoms don't make any difference to the prescription.

Great, I'm glad to hear that.

As I said she will be coming home this weekend so I will keep you posted once I give it to her.

Thank you.

There has been a significant change.
When my daughter was last home, I gave her some homeopathy to have at school in case she needed to take something she would have it there with her.

Apparently she was not doing well with Nat Mur (she didn't think so...more in her own world), she decided to take Sulphur 200C. This was sometime in March.

In any event the last few weeks she has had more of an upper respiratory cold, cough congestion. She began a few weeks ago coughing up yellow phlegm.

When she came home yesterday for the summer, she was coughing a lot and actually as the evening time came she was coughing excessively. She says its like she has something that won't come out...it can almost tickle her. She also has several other big changes

-- constipated (she never really has been constipated as a rule, she goes daily) ...now she may go every third day.

-- neck and back are really bothering her...he neck last night was extremely sore and every time she coughed she said her neck was in pain.

-- Acne has gotten worse on the forehead (started with Nat Mur) and now she has small little pimples around her mouth area. The other significant thing is she has what almost looks like little scabs on her upper back, arms and buttocks.

-- She's already had a strange shaped body as her chest is very indented and narrow (small) compared to her belly which sticks out quite far like she's almost pregnant. Her ribs under her breast stick out and then its indented under and then her tummy comes out. Well, her belly is larger than its typical large self and it is bothering her.

Oh yes, very important. It seems as though the Sulphur has helped her in other ways, primarily she looks and acts happy, she's talking with us with eye contact (huge), infact she's quite talkative. She's spent the evening with us and we enjoyed one another's company. This is so important as my daughter would typically spend more time in her room and be introverted and not be open to share her life. She is still taking Adderal when she studies for concentration though.

Almost forgot to mention, she was coughing so hard last night and it wouldn't stop (she said the last few days it has been getting progressively worse), I decided to give her 30C Bryonia which I thought might help both her cough as well as help any liver issue she might be having. It does seems as though after an hour or so it helped her. She did say that the past few nights she would wake up coughing...last night she slept through and infact is still sleeping with no coughing...so we will see.

What do you think?

David,
Please advise. Is Nat Mur still the correct remedy or does this change things? Thank you.

I have given my daughter the 1M Nat Mur as you prescribed. She took it on 6/11.

My daughter's mood is very good and she seems to be much more calm and cooperative. I have found that she has also opened up to me more than she ever has sharing feelings etc.

Her major concerns are...she was initially not sleeping very well at all but I think she is sleepipng a little better now but still not the best. She thinks it is because she is very congested and has difficulty breathing. She does seems very nasily and she has post nasal drip. She continues to blow her nose all day long -- clear with no color.
She also has acne (small bumps all over her forehead and down between her eyebrows. She now has acne on her chin and some of them do have a little pus in them (the forehead does not at all - the forehead very rough and dry. When she first took 200C Nat Mur, as you prescribed, that was the first time she received this acne. She has been on birth control pills since she was 15 or 16 because of her cramps and heavy flow so maybe this suppressed acne -- because my daughter never had much acne of any sort before Nat Mur 200c.

She also is eating more and seems to crave sweets and ice cream. Her energy level is better though.

-- I should note that the day after taking Nat Mur 1M she had good energy, was very talkative but she did get extremely frustrated but it seems much better now. One example was when she was trying to make a collage photo for her father and she was trying to put down sticky paper which she was having extreme difficulty with -- she was getting very frustrated and the more frustrated she got the more she was having difficulty etc. I walked over and said I could help her -- and she flipped out saying (very loudly) that I need to just leave her alone and let her do it and not interfere-- she then blamed me for her problems because I wouldn't leave her alone. She continued and with each effort she became more and more upset and frustrated. About 3 hrs later she apologized for over reacting but still thought I was the problem. She couldn't get to sleep at all and begin to fall asleep at 2:00 am.

I did want to share with you something she shared with me which may help to understand how she feels (this discussion was the day after taking 1M Nat Mur)...
On 6/12 I was with my daughter and she was in a good mood and we were talking about her experience at college (in the past she wouldn't say much at all, no matter how much I tried to talk with her). In any event, she said to me that college has been the best thing for her for many reasons but that she learned that she is not so abnormal. When I asked what she meant by abnormal she said that there are a lot of kids at college with 'issues' , some have anxiety, some are depressed, some cut themselves, many take some form of drug for ADHD or other impairment. She said this makes her feel more normal and infact she says she feels she doesn't have it nearly as bad as many people she knows in college.

She also discussed why she has not chosen to date anybody in college. She said that first she is very picky and typically most guys who are interested in her do not fit her type. Second she said that she doesn't want all the 'drama'. She says that most of her friends from high school and college seem to have so many fights, arguments and just issues with their boyfriends she's not ready for that. She said that she is just figuring out who she is and doesn't want to confuse that with trying to be someone else because she is trying to impress her boyfriend. She also said that she really wants to do well in college to get a good job (right now that means a very lot to her because her role model - her aunt - has done extremely well for herself and she doesn't understand that there's more to life than just your job). Her concern with a boyfriend is that she said she was afraid that it would mean she would not be able to focus on school and if the relationship did not work out she is not sure how she would handle that and she is very concern that it may jeopardize her ability to get good grades.

My daughter has always been an avid reader but when she first went to college she was not reading as much because she was meeting new kids and her studies were keeping her busy as well. Then when she took the Nat Mur 200C I remember Nicole began reading books in college again and eventually she was concerned that she was doing that over other things with friends. Now at home, she is reading a book or two a day (no exaggeration). Although I think its great that she is a reader (I remember in 1st and 2nd grade we were concerned with her lack of reading skills and she had a tutor) but I do worry that it is more of an escape from reality and living through others). In any event, I am mentioning it as it is excessive.

Since she is not at college and not taking tests, it is difficult to say how this has helped her concentration and memory. My hope is that she doesn't need to use Adderall any longer.

My daughter is concerned, however, with her acne (as many people would be) and her weight gain. She would also like to get rid of her congestion and post nasal drip.

Do we just stay the course for now or is there something that may help her further? Thank you.

Just wanted to give another update.

My daughter is progressing nicely in terms of her mood and disposition. She actually went shopping with us last night as a family (in the past she would have resisted and she would not have enjoyed it). She also helped me make dinner last night..a first. So there are so many wonderful positive signs.

The only real concern I have is whether or not she should continue to be so congested (she blows her nose probably 30 times in a day) and she does sound so stuffy.

She of course is concerned with her acne which I know is part of the process of healing inside first then outside. I try to give her some assurance but of course and 18 yr old who hasn't had much acne doesn't understand this.

David, is there anything I should be looking for or are we on the right path?

Thank you.

I did forget two important changes...

1) Her face the last week seems feeling swollen...not just one place her whole face.

2) She showed me her legs which also look as though they are peeling even though she hasn't been in the sun and she did not get it from the sun. Whit/Gray scaly looking.

Thank you.
