Arnica the Miracle Remedy

I would like to share with you an interesting case of a man 82 years of age who was in good health up to about a year ago when he discovered that his hands were gradually getting stiffer and he was unable to flex his fingers as he used to do. His condition gradually became worse and he could not move his arms. He had this same sensation in his legs and feet and in the case of both his hands and feet, he discovered that he had lost all tactile feeling. He was unable to use his arms and legs and was gradually losing weight as he had lost his appetite. He was unable to sleep and used to stare vacantly into space especially at night when he was unable to watch TV. Throughout this period however his mental prowess seemed to be unimpeded although life was beginning to be a burden to himself and his family.

He was first treated by many doctors with no success and he then changed over to Ayurvedic medicine which he had used for about 4 months with no amelioration of his symptoms. His condition gradually became worse and he was finally unable to walk and his children had to assist him to be moved and he was condemned to lie in bed or be seated on a chair. He was obviously fading slowly.

He was referred to me by his son in law, an employee in my organization, about a month ago, and he gave me a detailed description of his ailment. I was quite puzzled as to which remedy I could possibly give him till I thought of my favourite remedy Arnica which I decided to give him at 1M in the wet dose. I used just 1 drop in a 400ml bottle of water with instructions that it be succussed 4 times before giving 1 teaspoonful which was to be sipped twice daily.

The rationale that I adopted was that this man was suffering from a reduction of the blood supply in his brain and I felt that Arnica 1M could give him that kick start which could help the blood supply to be re-established in his brain. This was indeed a very long shot as I had not seen him at all but since he could not come to see me, I felt that this remedy could work.

To my great surprise, he came to see me about a month after he started on this therapy to get an additional bottle of the same medicine. He lives in a distant village and was unable to come to see me during this time. I found that he seemed to have recovered back to his old self again. He has regained full control of the motor functions in his fingers, hands and his feet and is able to flex his fingers and seems to be quite agile and able to move around without any assistance. He has also regained his weight and he seems to be in reasonable state of good health which can be expected at his advanced age.

He complained of a mild gastritis and constipation and I gave him Nat Phos 6x to ease his discomfort after meals which I recommended should be light. I had a message from him a few days ago through his son in law that his stomach problem was resolved and that his constipation was history. This is another bonus that I have discovered with the use of Nat phos 6x as it is the ultimate remedy to help acid reflux and constipation and of course helps to reduce weight.

I have continued his therapy with Arnica 1M but have reduced his dosage to 1 teaspoonful daily.
