You react to remedies whether they are good for you or not. In fact usually the reaction is strong and difficult. Since none of those remedies have been curative, it is not enough that you react, to determine whether the remedy will help you or not.

Hi David,
My cold +tonsillitis is too much bothering my throat is completely sore feels like there are cuts in my throat. i cannot sleep cannot lay cannot do anything, my eyes are watery and headache little sneezing with some fever like condition. My throat firstly got itchy then it converted into sore and feels like cuts in it. I don't think its aggravation as my whole family is also suffering from this kind of situations/symptoms. What should i do for this painful condition. Swallowing is pain. Sneezing makes my body painful.My joints pains are also worse very much bad. Joints are becoming stiff very much stiff and wasn't before. My nose also feel sore and some little water also comes otherwise its blocked. My nose becomes blocked in closed room or in warm room or when there is gathering of people and oxygen is low but nose blocking got better in open air and in cold temperature. Open air fresh air works like magic for blocked nose and even i enter in any room or lay down my nose get blocked. This nose condition is before taking lac leo. Tonight water from mouth may be due to tonsillitis or sore throat and since tonight also feeling chilly. You know i have high ASO(anit strepoccocin) titre and high uric acid since from begininig/start of my joint pains may be uric acid or high aso titre is the cause as High aso titre is the only cause for rheumatic fever which can cause death :) and sore throat only makes ASO titre more high. Now what should i do for this too much sore throat and tonsillitis body is also paining. I don't think i can bear this painful condition i.e sore throat,watery eyes, nose, blocked nose,painful joint stiffness, as i cannot rest /sleep due to this. My mother saying this is aggravation of lac-leo as she's saying i do have blocked nose and tonsillitis but not painful its becomes in painful(Acute?) state after lac leo dose.
Two questions.
1. What you say about my condition?
2. I think i can gargle as its safe and natural way to relief some symptoms and can i also use herbal tea like joshanda or joshina.

these symptoms aren't old i haven't experienced such symptoms in my life or very very rare or i remembered just may be once or twice i have that kind of acute sore throat. My nose is expelling phelgm(flu mucus) now a days as before my nose was blocked but after expelling this my nose again get blocked i mean in room it get blocked but in open air it get loose and i expel it my right nostril is mostly blocked since before this condition and right now also. Due to this expelling thing my nostrils also feeling sore. My eyes are watery and feeling chilly. Whenever in past life i have cold attack or tonsillitis the feeling is blocked nose and congested chest but now its not.
In short words this isn't an old state for me as everybody in our family seems infected with that disease(virus?)

Then it is not an aggravation. It is an acute epidemic which is likely to be completely different from your normal chronic state.
What you should do for this acute is use Allium cepa - start with 30c, see how you do on that for the first day. Take one dose (split) every hour for 3 hours (3 doses). Let me know how that goes. You should move up to 200c if there is not enough improvement or if you relapse after every dose (improvement is not maintained).

Yesterday i took 3 doses, took allium cepa 30c 2 doses with one hour gap but the last third dose was taken little late 2 hours as i went out for some work but didn't felt any relief with first two doses so i feel that i should take dose little stronger so i took it in less water i.e 30-40ml with 3-4 drops instead of 1-2 drops and got much relief within next 3 hour and remain better the whole day as i think improvement is enough so i didn't take 200c but after getting relief fron watery eyes,nose and flu feeling it then converted into some coughing and phelgm/sputum/mucus got thick. Today i took a bath and now i am again feeling irritation in nostrils and very minor water from eyes, previous feeling of been flu/cold feels coming back but very little. Do i need4 to take allium cepa 200c dose or something else as mucus is thick now with some coughing.
The last thing is that today 7 days compelted of lac-leo 200c dose but NO changes felt just the natural normal pains increasing not much aggravations or any mental changes felt. Oh i forgot to tell you that i accidentlly took the dose a little wrong i mean i put one drop of lac-leo 200c in 250ml water and take one teaspoon into mouth instead of mixing this teaspoon into another 250ml water but i think its fine. What about lac-leo 200c, if you don't mind i would like you to recommend me a stronger dose as i told you already that i used to take direct drops on tongue from remedy bottle. I am not sensitive to remedies but sensitive in judging their actions or reactions but its all upon you i will do whatever you suggests.

This acute has interupted anything the Lac-leo might have done. There is no way to judge it now, so we will leave it for the moment until you are recovered from this.
Repeat the 30c first again, then see how that goes. If it feels incomplete or does not last very long, move to 200c.
Only do this if you are sure you are relapsing.
You can take the remedy on the tongue if you wish. We can see how that works out. Make it one drop only though.

Can i also repeat the dose if relief isn't complete? i mean if not relapse but also no complete recovery. I hope i can repeat in that case also.
There is 70-80% relief within 4 hour of 3rd dose yesterday but not complete releif and mucus/phelgm/mucus also became thick and that thick mucus seems to drop into throat when try to swallow empty mouth. That's why i can say i am not completely relieved so i think i have to repeat.

I admits the relief in flu/cold condition is amazing even compared to allopath/orthodox medicines that usually take a day or more to show that kind of results, i am sure because used to practice orthodox/allopath medicines for 6 years before studying homeopathy at that time i was extemely against homeopathy. The remedy should only be used often enough that the process of cure will continue on its own. Remember that in a true acute there is no internal cause, only external, so once the vital force is corrected, it will finish the work on its own.
Only repeat 30c if you need it. If you relapse or if you continue to feel suffering. If you experience ongoing improvement you should not repeat the remedy.
Only use 200c if 30c appears to do nothing. Taking it too soon can aggravate you which will confuse things.

I will wait and see and not going to repeat the remedy until i am 100% sure about relapse or not complete relief.
One thing bothers me a lot that is since childhood whenever i am impressed by someone i started acting like that 'someone' not just acting but even complete personality will be changed like that 'someone' but i rarely very rarely be impressed by someone. The problem is now whenever any homeopath presribe a remedy for me if i read about that remedy or if i know that remedy i started acting like that remedy even change my whole personality like that remedy.

You are impressionable. That is why you should not read about the remedy lol. Just take them and let the effect happen over a few days, then maybe read after that.

As i told you before that my watery flu has been converted into thick and i am sure there isn't relapse but today right now i woke up and yesterday also i have sore painful throat like i have eaten some sour candy and sharp pain in front center of chest like we got pain in cold and my whole right side of face right neck become numb(ants crawling?). Yesterday and today my throat feel like something(phelgm/mucus) stick in it and this is very irritating and disturbing and feels hard to take breath. These symptoms aren't present when i take allium cepa so i don't think i have to repeat the remedy. This throat sticking thing is bothering and some very minor sounds come from chest while breathing but it happens rarely and i try to cough out the mucus and this sound disappears.

Repeat the 30c. That does not sound like you are moving towards recovery. If that does not help, then you can try the 200c.

okay repeating 30c right now. i forgot to tell you about my real cause of replying that is since yesterday i am like pis-sed off like impatient and angery and depressed for unknown reason and on routine matters, i was all happy and energetic and now today my joints pain also level up and got more painful as its because my mental state got bad yesterday and now my pains got worse. please note and record one important thing, i beg you to record this.
'whenever i am depressed(i mostly mean 'sad' or burdening or tense) or anxiety my joints pains get worse and whenever i am happy or pretend to show my consicious i am happy my joints pains decrease as you know my joints pains started due to sadness and lots of anxiety of my son's death and wife c-section and placenta praevia so any sad event makes my joints pains worse and if i watch comedy (anime or tv drama) i got relief in pains after some hours and this relief remains until something even minor got bad/sad when i see someone in pain and know the cause of his/her pain (sad event) specially my family members or my dear ones, my pain increase on next day.'

I took allium cepa 200c dose(split) direct on tongue it only helped a little for one hour only and now again very thick phelgm/mucus feeling sticked in throat and one more thing now whatever i eat i feel its odor/smell from my throat i mean it feel like food odor coming from that thick hard mucus/phelgm. Should i repeat 200c again. Please don't mind but i feel allium cepa is not working properly as it worked on first day and symptoms are also changed and new since after allium cepa.
This thicked mucus/phelgm feels very bothering and nose also feels blocked mostly one side or sometimes both. Can't get up early in morning and not feel fresh in morning since the watery flu converted into thick sticked flu as before at morning i feel perfect without any pains but now not.

Bump please read above both replies and if this acute isn't curing completely then leave it i will try to bear it but lets treat the chronic state. Though this thickened phelgm/mucus bothers lot but i will try to bear it as much as i can.

You can't choose to treat the chronic state IF an acute state has taken its place. You have to treat whatever state is presenting.

by symptoms changing i mean the complete picture changed when you prescribed allium cepa like before allium cepa it is like cold and some how like influenza symptoms i.e watery eye, runny nose, forehead heavy and aching, headache, body aching, inflammed mucus membranes like larynx,throat etc but now all these are relieved not completey i say, or you can say now converted into something like thick sticky gel like discharge in upper area/wall of throat and in nose with dizziness whole day + daily getting up (waking up) at morning is harder and wants to sleep but before this flu/cold kinda condition , morning is the best thing in my life, i was and now like morning very very very much and my joints pains and other complaints are also less in morning . Now a days getting up early is becoming a problem but in past its very easy and refreshing. The main problem now is the that thick sticky gel like thing in my specially upper throat,nose and also in whole throat when this thing coming in my nose i breath harder to make it into throat and then try to expell but expelling is also hard.

you know due to language problem its hard to find words to describe any problem so i usually searched the words from internet and i was searching about the right word for thick mucus i think may be some kinda name for this thing then i came to know that someone called it like gel so Gel word isn't mine i saw it and write it other words are mine i will try to describe them. Describing words is the hardest part for me :)

I mean something like honey like something adhesive or viscid (search these both words from dictionary) which when put or pour on something, it don't move and very adhesive and we have to apply hard effort to move it, i mean like mucus stick in throat like bond and even with great effort it can't be expelled.

Nothing happened after kali bich. except aggravations some joints pains increased and my chronic left sided neck, left chest pain is also coming back, back of right leg and hip also started pain, this leg right hip and leg pain is an old symptom which i got in past before using any homeopathic treatment. these both neck,leg, hip pains was little but now much more. And i have also backache before taking kali bich. this also inceased. Please s note one thing that i am not really sure this aggravation is due to kali bich. or natural as i am always unsure about this. This sore throat symptoms which i have now remained is an old symptom and also this thick mucus feels like an old symptoms but no sure about his thick mucus as in past only my nose was blocked.
There also started severe pinching pain on my right feet second toes which is along with big toe which was first to get gout on feet. This is getting painful too much and ITS PAINFUL TO TOUCH but touching pain isn't ttoo much but it pains to point out the pain by touching.

We are getting into the same trouble with you. What is a remedy reaction and what is you?
However we have started with Kali-bich, and it is typical for patients to not be able to tell an aggravation from a normal worsening of their state. So we need to wait.
