Hair loss and low iron

Good Day

I have been reading many postings related to hair loss and I had a few questions. I got some blood work done and the results showed that I have a low ferritin level. So I am currently taking iron supplements everyday. I am also taking a muti-vitamin and a B-complex everyday. I was hoping to start on the Arnica 6C 3X a day, but was wondering if I could also take the iron and B-Complex etc...pills as well everyday?

I have very thin hair, mostly in the frontal area. Please advise.

THX

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Ferrum Phos 6x instead of iron supplements. Don't continue commercial B-complex for long - suggest you take Spirulina for a bit (a month, lets say), stop, get another blood report. Nat Mur ^x is also indicated for both anaemia and hair loss. Of course there are other options - you should post more info.

Sorry, read Nat Mur 6x.
Not sure what Joe says re. Arn. with Vits. Shdn't be a problem.

I have proved during the past few years that Arnica 30c in the Wet dose is the ideal remedy for hair loss.

Please read the many posts that I have made on this forum on Hair loss and also remember not to use any other shampoo than Johnson's baby Shampoo.

I would prefer that you do not use any other medication --Vitamins etc as I really do not think that the human body especially those that live in the developed nations require any additional vitamins to be healthy.

I use to take Vit E upto about 2 years ago as it was supposed to be good for the ageing body (76) but quite honestly, I did not see any difference in my vitality after stopping it. All you need is a balanced diet with a lot of fruit and veg and also no coffee, cola drinks and sausages. Also drink plenty of water preferably spring water with chlorine, at least 5 ltrs daily.

You will observe that Arnica which you can take twice daily for the first month will act as a general tonic and you will soon find your haemoglobin count will improve.

Joe,

When can I start to see the results? At the moment I have been taking the wet dose of Arnica 30C ( 1 drop in 400ml of spring water) 2X daily for about a week, but I haven't seen a reduction in my hair loss.....

You should expect to see a reduction of the loss of hair in about 2-4 weeks when the number of hairs lost should preceptibly reduce.

In about 2 months you should notice small hairs between your hair sprouting up.

If you follow this simple treatment you should regain yous lost hair soon but remember that this therapy is not an instant fix.

I note that you are taking other vitamins and minerals dialy. I have noticed that the Arnica therapy for hair does not work satisfactorily in the presence of other drugs, vitamins etc. It is up to you to work out which your priority is. If it is essential that you use your drugs then you must do so but not blame the Arnica for not helping your hair.

I have stopped the other drugs and now an only taking Arnica...I will update you in a couple of weeks and let you know how I am doing....thanks...

Joe,

Should I also use the Arnica and Oil mix on my hair over night? How much of each? Does this really help?

I have experimented and found that Arnica/Colonut oil mix really works in the case of a few persons who were using just the Arnica 30c in the dry dose. It seems to accelerate the growth of the lost hair as there is always the presence of the Arnica on your scalp.

The mix is 20% of Arnica Q to virgin Coconut oil. It is best used after a shower when you use a few drops on the tips of your fingers to massage the mix into your scalp. You can replace the oil every day and it is the massage that is important to enable it to reach into the hair follicles.

Joe, is Arnica Q the same as the liquid Arnica?

rkapal last decade
Arnica Q is the Mother Tincture. It is brown in colour and is the concentrated form of Arnica prior to potentization as remedies used in Homeopathy.

Joe,

I just thought that I would relpy to my on post, so that you can answer me through this post.

As I mentioned before, I have been using the split dose of Arnica 30 for my hair loss as well as the Arnica/Oil mixture your suggested. Unfortunately it has been three weeks and I still haven't seen any results. My hair loss is still about 125-150 hairs per day......do you think I should just be patient and wait for the Arnica to take it's course, or do you think that I should try something else.

.

Please help!!!!

I would like to know what other drugs, vitamines etc you are taking now.

Arnica cannot help to help with hair if you take any other drugs, coffee etc.

Joe De Livera last decade
Joe,

I am not taking anything else except the Arnica as you stated.

no coffee or tea or cold drinks either.....

Do you think I should stick with the current treatment or can you suggest something else for me, please.

1)since how long have you been suffering from hair loss and
2)hows your stomach doing?

adil_kakar last decade
it's been about 4-5years I think, but I only noticed the loss about 1 year ago. My hair was thin, but I didn't have any scaple showing until last year.

I don't have any other problems, besides low ferritin levels (iron storage), which are at 14. They need to be at 70 for hair growth. That is what my doctor said.

Please help.

just wondering if you may be able to suggest something for me? Should I continue with Arnica or should I start something else? Please help......

rkapal last decade
I note that the Arnica is not helping you and I believe that this is due to your low Ferritin level. You will have to seek advice from MD's for this problem which quite frankly I cannot solve for you.

Joe De Livera last decade
You can take Natrum Mur30x. Also can take Ferrum Phos and Kali Sulph. No need for MDs.

Sepia helped me with hair loss and I also was anemic, not necessarily so to look to an iron remedy, many others will cover the symptoms, try the Remedy Finder.
