burn-out and exhaustion

I have had a period of exhaustion/illness after experiencing a very stressful period of time. I was very anxious, angry and tearful due to stress. After the emotional time passed I was very burned-out, exhausted and developed cold symptoms (chilly, runny nose, aversion to sunlight, achy muscles, bloated, the whole trunk of my body feels weak). Please let me know the appropriate remedy.

Hello,

Thank you very much for your assistance. Please advise on the right remedy. I made a previous post a few days ago for excess sweating and a stale smell that lingers on my clothes, furniture from it. I was recommended 30 of Sulphur daily for 5 days in the morning. I am on my second day of that.
Below is the information on my symptoms.

What is your chief complaint?
Emotional and Physical exhaustion and cold symptoms following very stressful emotional periods. Very small events, tasks can feel stressful and my body is frequently fatigued afterwards.

When did this complaint start?
As long as I can remember.

What was going on at this time? ( examples: emotional upsets, disappointments, illness of others, accidents, injuries, travel, new foods or
exercises)
Emotional upsets. Lots of times upsets caused by something someone did to me that was wrong/disrespectful. This is strongest when it is coming from a person of authority, like my boss trying to force me to do something I don't agree with.

What is your opinion of the cause of the complaint?
Emotional upsets and stress. Anxiety, upset, anger.

List other main complaints after this and give the same information.

Small tasks are very difficult for me to accomplish. It is very difficult for me to do basic tasks for living (chores, cleaning up, daily exercise). Once I get started I am fine, but it takes a lot of effort to get going. I find larger tasks to actually be easier for me and a lot more motivating. I am messy, and not careful of small details. Forgetful. I am much more philosophically inclined. I have a hard time getting going in the morning. I usually feel very tired mornings, not hungry, dull headache. I don't feel awake until afternoon.

I get bouts of a cold after extreme emotional upsets. Runny nose, feel chilly, dull headache, muscle ache, my posture is bad, stiff neck, colds last for almost 2 weeks at a time, irritated eyes, my digestion feels more sluggish, sneezing, sinking chest, my trunk feels cold and weak, sleep not deep.

Stiff neck and back pain that is chronic. My throat also feels stiff and tight. I frequently get tight knots even after chiropractor and massages, they will always come back after emotional upsets.


I have cystic acne. Mostly along my left jaw line.But all over face some on chest and upper arms.

I have a tight jaw that hurts and grind my teeth.

I have allergies on and off to pollen and foods. Lots of times to fruits like cherries. I get red bumps, pussy on my upper thighs and around my body.

I flush easily on the face and cheeks.

I sometimes have bitter taste in my mouth that lasts for a few weeks. My liver feels dense and tender at those times.

At times my whole abdominal trunk feels tights.

My back between my shoulders feels weak, and numb often. As if there is no circulation.

Yes, due to stress. I used to research/read a lot too. -Extended period of unusual or continued mental exertion

I sleep 9 hours when tired, but recover extremely slowly. When I do try to move to exercise or get things done I get dizzy, headaches. This lasts for 2-3 weeks then I get better. Very much caused by emotions. I used to have acid reflux, but it went away. I feel much better when completely absorbed in a task. My face and body bloats very easily.

I feel less tired and dizzy when I first lie down and lie down a while. But doing this does not help me to recover. I feel less tired after walking in the house. I feel dizzy when I was stopping and I rise. Lying with my head back feels uncomfortable to my back.

I feel worse after reading, my body feels tired and muscles stiff, but I love to read. I feel better after all meals, like I have more energy. Breathing deeply helps me to feel more relaxed. I feel like I have more energy being in the sun, outdoors, away from cold, in motion but it is very difficult for me to get going. I feel tired after talking and prefer being isolated. I feel less chilly with blanket and need to be covered in blanket even if the night is very hot.

15 drops in a cup containing an ounce of water, sip one third of it, 15 minutes later sip the next third of it, and 15 minutes later take the last third of it.HALF AN HR BEFORE DINNER .dont repeat.

Kali Phos 6x,five tablets every day half an hr b4 meals .

Hello Anuj Srivastava,

Thank you for your recommendations. I have taken the Nux Vom, Kali Phos like you recommended. I felt much better after my first dose of each remedy in the evening, but I usually feel much better in the evening anyways so I couldn't tell. I have been taking Kali Phos for almost 3 days but feel that it might be making me feel more tired right after I take it. It's such a small dosage, I feel that it would be hard to overdose. But I am not sure.

I was also recommended to take Sulphur 30 for 5 days and have just finished that today. I would also like your recommendation for that based on my symptoms. My skin has become hotter and more itchier. But then it cools down and doesn't bother me. This usually happens on and off for me anyways and is not that unusual to how my skin reacts every now and then.

I was wondering if you would recommend for me to continue, discontinue or reverse any of these meds. Please let me know your suggestions.

why are you taking sulphur ,i am not aware.

kali phos will not tire you,have one dose every day and see.

how are the body odors and other symptoms.

I was taking sulphur for excess sweating and a stale smell that my sweat leaves behind on everything, even though I shower daily and always have on clean clothes. (But I also have very hot, itchy skin, rashes, bumps, acne every now and then. It is usually worst at night. It also would sometimes get worse after eating different foods. Worst on my legs and face.)

My body odors seem the same right now. But my skin does feel hotter, itchier and more irritated. This is common for me though, my skin will get like this after an emotional upset time/illness. I do feel a lot less tired, a lot better. Runny nose comes and goes, but much better. Digestion feels a bit sluggish and like it has a lot of mucus. I have a hard time telling if I am hungry or full. I am still worst in mornings and feel very dizzy, headache in the mornings. I have bad breath these days and my tongue has a numb sensation. Throat slightly itchy and it is difficult for my eyes to focus. I am very very bloated, I look like I have gained a lot of weight. Maybe I have, but can't tell.

I am not repeating Nux. I will continue Kali Phos. Please let me know about what you think for Sulphur.

I have been taking nat phos since my last post. So far my cold symptoms are almost gone. I am still very tired and my stomach very acidic. I am having reactions to everything i eat. And usually have a bitter/ sour taste in my mouth. Thats my symptoms for now.

I have been taking Kali Phos and Nat Phos 3 times a day. Much improvement so far. My cold is now just occasional runny nose and sneezing (especially mornings and evenings). I still always have a stuffy nose. I am still fatigued in the mornings till early afternoon with aching feeling all over. My acid levels are down and I no longer have a bitter taste in my mouth! My skin is still slightly itchy but MUCH less. I can not tell you yet about my body odor because I can not smell things very well right now with my stuffy nose. My period is very spotty right now (rare fore me), it looks like it might start or skip. Eyes are easily irritated and turn red even with slightest rub.

Hello Anuj,

My cold is still lingering but nearly gone. Also the acidic and bitter taste in my mouth was gone but i ate a lot of raw garlic and it came back and my bloating came back. I have been taking the remedies you have told me to take. My mood is much better these days. I have been having insomnia too, wake up around 2:00. Still fatigued and dizzy in mornings and so i have been living pretty sedantary. Body is always aching and tense. Please let me know how to continue. Thank you.

Hello Anuj,

So my cold is finally gone. Bitter taste in my mouth is finally gone too. Even though it got a lot better, my sweat smell is still there. My skin (especially face) reacts to different products unexpectedly. Like to makeup I've used before, or a mask made of just honey. It turns red, hot and itches a lot. I also wanted to work on my slight social phobia . blushing, nervousness around new people. I start to not be able to think clearly and get really shy, mostly when I am talking, not when I am listening. A lot of times I feel like I'm not sure what to say and have a hard time being natural. I lose my train of thought and say/do things I would normally not do. Even though I have a very outgoing side.

Please let me know how to proceed.

Hello Anuj,

My acid levels are much better. Last week my body was reacting to almost everything I ate (rash, itchy). My energy levels have improved dramatically. I can now exercise regularly and only get dizzy if I do things like yoga where I have to lie down and stand up again. I am nearly done with my bottle of Nat Phos. I have still been taking Kali Phos too like 1 or 2 times a day. I started noticing that because of the bitter/acid taste in my mouth I did not notice that my tongue is actually numb/tingling. This has been constant, but I thought it was just a bitter taste. This must have been for a couple months now and concerns me. I went to the spa to sweat yesterday and when I woke up this morning I felt very cold and my lips looked more blue in color. I still have slight mucus in the mornings. Body odor is still the same but the amount I sweat seems less. Please let me know your advice.

I've been taking the kali phos (1x a day); nat phos (2x a day); calc phos (3x a day) and the symptoms now are: itchy, dry, small bumps, red skin all over my body (this has recently started to fade); tight jaw muscles; bloating and lots of gas; constipation; dull headache; body aches; irritable; increased appetite; numbness on the tongue decreased; cold body feels a little warmer; oily face; tired; brain fog; forgetful; cannot remember small details; clumsy.

I took the gap for 3 days and now am taking only Calc Phos. I have been having very bad constipation these days. And one day I saw a worm in my stool. Is there anything I can do for this right now?

it was small so i think a pinworm. i have mostly been dealing with a constant headache and brain fog. the headache gets bad and it makes me feel dizzy, blurry vision and nauseous. the headache feels linked to my constipation, if i am less constipated the headache is less. i drink tons of water already and think if i do have worms i had them for a long time. my appetite has increased and i keep eating even if i'm not hungry. my skin looks a little more brown/blue tone to me. i am very irritable, tired, and my abdamon feels constantly bloated. But my general mood is OK. My tongue is still numb. I dont' taste any bitterness anymore and I can now eat garlic and acid foods with no problem. I have dry skin that is red and itches. hard, bumpy rashes on my thighs.
