First time treatment - feeling bad

Hello,
I have received my first ever homeopathic remedy from my doctor, it is:

Toxopneustes C 30

My health issues are chronic irritable bowel syndrome, light history of panic attacks connected to my ribs/chest and most recent epididymytis, which has left me pretty destroyed in september, after I took two types of antibiotics.

I took the toxopneustes on tuesday and since thursday, I am feeling progressively worse. It started with feeling pain on my chest/ribs without any apparent reason, and culminated into the worst panic attack I have ever had in my life yesterday, and another one tonight. I am feeling really down, depressed and anxious, with pain in my ribs and in my urinary tract.

I have e-mailed my doctor, and he told me it can happen and that its called 'homeopathic worsening(?)' - sorry for not using the correct term, I am not native english speaker. And that it should eventually wear off.

Can anyone please confirm that this is indeed a regular case of getting worse before it gets better? Because I am feeeling the worst than I ever felt before, and I am not far from visiting an emergency room or popping a benzo to calm down.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Your homeopath is right, its called aggravation and should die down in 1-3 days.
