Chronic Sore Throat... Possible Mono?
Hi,I'm a 19 year old Female and for the past month or so I've been experiencing a sore throat that hasn't gone away. My voice has been very raspy as well. At first I thought I was coming down with a cold/flu/seasonal allergies but it hasn't gone away. The pain is getting more severe to the point of not wanting to swallow - hot and cold both bother it. Started taking Roxalia today to see if it'd help and I've had no relief. I was put under on March 24th to have my wisdom teeth removed and it's seemed to get worse since then. I've also been very fatigued. I grabbed a flashlight a little while ago to look at my throat and noticed my tonsils are considerably swollen with a little bit of white on them - I've never had issues with my tonsils before. I sound nasally & have some drainage occasionally. I've been exposed to Mono and I'm starting to believe that's what I have. I like to be exposed to cold air with warm covers. In the last week I've been extremely emotional and don't feel like dealing with people - not normal behavior for me at all. I have normal bowel movements. My periods have been a consistent 23 day cycle since I first started, but in the last six months it's been out of wack. They've been slowly getting longer and when I started on Sunday it was 32 days. I experience bloating & sometimes have intense cramps during. My flow is normal with a red coloring and occasional clotting on my heaviest days (day 2/day 3). My period is completely over within five days.

Is 6c Kali Mur okay? That's all I can find locally.
*UPDATE: I found the 6x and got it.*
I've taken three doses today & the pain in my throat isn't getting better. My tonsils are getting more white and have red lines on them. I can feel the pain in my ears.

I'm starting to notice change. Looked down my throat and the swelling has gone down - pain is also not as severe. Had a friend who's an MD come over and look at it and he says it's not mono - more than likely strep.

I've continued to take it for the past week and I was doing a lot better. Last night though my sinuses were draining all night & I didn't sleep well. I woke up with a sore throat again and it hurt all day until maybe the last hour. I recently changed jobs and am around a dog now which makes me nasally and itchy - possible seasonal/pet allergies?

But you may have allergies to the dog dander.
Allergies to pollen, dust, dander etc mean your immune system is not functioning up to par bc if it was you
would not have allergies.
If you pet the dog, wash your hands right after, and keep
the dog out of where you sleep, get a hepa air cleaner
and at least keep it in the bedroom so that you have a
'clean' room to get your energy back while sleeping,
make sure the dog gets a regular bath and vacuum a lot.

I only have Rhos Tox in 200c tiny pellets at home - would this work?
Should I be taking Rhos Tox and Silicea at the same time or space the doses out?

Took one dose of Rhus Tox and three doses of Silicea today and no improvement. If anything, I feel worse. Throbbing headache in my forehead, stuffed nose that is now starting to run, coughing (exasperated when I take deep breaths), my ears are plugged... should I continue with the remedies for three more days like original?

Symptoms are continuing to get worse. This 'tickle' in my lungs is making me cough constantly, constant sinus headache, really bad earaches, & my throat is hurting just like it was when I originally made this thread. I don't understand why it's all coming back...

I only have it in 200c teeny tiny pellets.
It could be outdoor allergies because things are just starting to grow here, and/or pet allergies because there's a dog at my new job that I started three weeks ago.

I've continued with what you advised and I'm still having some minor sore throat issues. Everything else (eyes, ears, sinuses) seems to be doing okay still.

it will .allergy to pollen's congress grass , etc may be the reason.
