Dr Nawaz Khan ..please help
Dear Doctor,Problem - My daughter, age 11 and 1/2 years, is having severe pain behind of right leg knee (Popliteal area) and finding very difficult to walk. She is not having any pain during resting, sitting, and sleeping but during walking, she has tremendous pain and cannot walk properly without medicine.
Present Problem History
This problem was first occurred in the month of February-March-15. Initially pain was very less and set right by giving homeopathic medicines Ruta 30 and Magnesia Phos 6x. It lasted only maximum 4 to 5 days. This pain was fluctuated either in left or right leg (one at a time) and keep on changing. There is no fixed time gap between pains and also no surety for pain in left or right leg.
But in the month of August-15-she was having more pain (as compared to previous ones) in back side of left leg knee (popliteal area). This time we have consulted Allopathic doctor in Bhopal. As per doctor this pain was due to swelling behind the knee (due excess synovial fluid).
Following medicine he prescribed for ten days along with complete rest
etova-p400-pain killer
syrup fourts b
arachitol-nano
coralium-d3
seratin-forte
After 4 days, there was no pain and we stopped Etova-P 400 medicine and after 10 days, we met the doctor again. We informed the doctor about the stoppage of one medicine mentioned above. Doctor advised us to continue 2nd, 3rd and 4th medicines and take 1st and 5th medicine on SOS basis.
But after another 6 days, again pain started behind the right leg knee (popliteal area) instead of left leg. We called our doctor over mobile, he advised to take 1st (Etova-P 400) and 5th medicine also. During this time, left leg was perfectly alright. My doctor said this synovial pain keep on shifting/ changing.
After taking above medicines, pain stopped in 6 days and we got relieved.
But 19th Sep-15, again pain started behind the right leg knee (popliteal area). We called our doctor again over mobile, he advised to take 1st (Etova-P 400) and 5th medicine along-with vitamin-D & Calcium. Pain was reduced immediately (within 1 or 2 days) but not gone completely in five days. So we met the doctor in Bhopal. This time he changed the pain killer medicine with Proxim 200 and pain was gone completely in three days (total 9 days) i.e. on 26th September-15.
After 2 months, i.e. on 27th November-15 again pain (this time severe pain) started behind the right leg knee (popliteal area), pain travelled upto right leg finger and she was crying with pain. This is the first time, she cried and sweating was also observed. Doctor asked to start Proxim 200 pain killer with one antibiotic medicine. Pain reduced immediately but not gone completely in 9 days. This time our doctor advised to meet any specialist in child rheumatologist in PGI Chandigarh or Ganga Ram Hospital Delhi.
We immediately left for Chandigarh PGI on 5th December-15 and met Prof. Dr. Surjeet Singh (head of department and specialist in child rheumatology of PGI-Chandigarh) on 8th December-15. He had seen all our reports, MRI and suggested for some test. Test results came next day and again we met the doctor. All results came negative except higher ESR (i.e. 41) and lower hemoglobin (i.e. 9.4). Other tests came (like anti ccp, RH factor etc.) came negative. Same observation (high ESR and low hemoglobin) noticed during test results advised by Bhopal doctor. After inspecting the reports, doctor said that she is not having any problem of arthritis and rheumatism. Doctor asked to do following
- Allow her for school and play.
- Stop all the medicine.
- to visit again when she is having severe pain and use only paracetamol for pain reliever.
We had already stopped all the medicine from 7th December-15 morning. Pain was getting reduced slowly and slowly and on 11th December-15 morning, pain was set right completely.
After this, we had visited Fortis Hospital Chandigarh on 9th December-15 and met specialist doctors of child rheumatologist and vascular. Child rheumatologist asked for several test in SRL lab and we land up with same result i.e. higher ESR (i.e. 30) and lower hemoglobin (i.e. 9.3). Other reports came negative and advised to visit again after two month or whenever she is having pain with reports of ESR and hemoglobin test. Doctor of vascular said this is not the case of vascular.
Same day we met one person, advised by my friend, in Kalka he is practicing in Homeopathy since last 20 years after retirement from job. After seeing all the reports, he asked me to take homeopathy medicine
physostigma 200 TDS-4 pills three time a day and to be continued for two month and also gave me another second medicine of 30 potency. I do not know the name of second medicine. I asked about it but he refused and told your problem will be solved after two month
Since we had stopped all the allopathic medicines and started above homeopathic medicine. My question(s) are
- Above homeopathy medicine is correct or not?
- If not, what is further course of action?
- Is it safe also in terms of side effects?
- What is the cause of this problem?
Previous problem Details
In the year of 2007, she had suffered with Typhoid and admitted in children hospital for 8 days. Same typhoid came in 2010, but lasts for 4 days. In 2011, her eyes were checked for poorer farsightedness. Her near-sightedness was OK at that time. Presently both the sightedness are ok.

One more information that i wanted to share is
Physostigma 200 TDS medicine i have given only one day i.e. 11.12.15 (three times a day) only and after that i have stopped.

Hi,
Please give her Bryonia 200C, 4 drops mixed in 2 sips of mineral water, 1 time a day, for 3 days.
Stop all other remedies.
Many prayers for your daughter.

Dear Dr Nawaz sir,
My daughter is studying in class 6th standard in DAV school. She is the only child that we have. She is having interest in watching movies, TV shows, playing with children and dancing. She is not allotting any time for study and we have to force her by either by scolding or threatening. But she is getting always A+ grade as we are teaching her and keep on follow up.
Due this habit of my daughter, It became habit (especially due to anger) of me and my husband to scold (sometimes loudly also) her for studying and not to watch TV or playing. Sometimes we had beaten also. Slowly and slowly she started developing fear (against scolding and beating) during study and we have also noticed that it destroyed self-confidence in solving maths problem. Every time she used to ask whatever she is thinking is correct or not before writing on notebook. Now what happened, whenever she is doing any mistake, she is not coming in front of us. Now we have stopped all these things. This is all about what she had faced at home.
Now, in school, since she had started missing school intermittently due pain in popliteal area of leg (left or right but one at a time) and cannot walk properly. Due to this her friend circle had lost completely in school. Now she has to sit in class either alone or with someone who is not her friend or you can say she does not like to talk her/ him. Since she cannot run or walk fast as others during pain time so her friend are started avoiding her. But that is not intentionally that might be because they know that after sometime she will not come to school due to pain.
As informed you earlier, that last time pain started on last week of November-15 and that was also after two months. During these two she played a lot in Bangalore and Delhi and she stepped up to third floor many times. But there was no pain in that two months.
One day before that she had a fear in night that her friends (especially one or two) will remove her from the group. But she did not share this information with us. Next morning we had noticed that she is not walking properly. We both asked her what happened you are not walking properly. Is pain again started? She said no and it is very less may be because of cold. In school same incident happened that she was removed from her friend circle group and that two girls asked others (girls) not to talk her. Same day evening we noticed severe pain in her leg with sweating (as explained earlier).
We have not noticed this pain problem due to our scolding or hitting in last four five years. From yesterday onwards, we started to send her coaching of math and english where her friends (girls) are also coming. But she wants to go only for math not for english. English coaching she does not want to go because her friends are very good in english and she cannot cop up with that. I thing she has a fear of failure.
now she is walking properly and there is no pain also. So I want to know that whether we have to start Brynioa 200C or based above symptoms, another homeopathic medicine we have to start.
Two more information about pain that
1 - during walking she was having pain but during stepping up and down on ladders this pain was more especially stepping down pain is highest.
2 - Her behavior is changing as we have noticed that if we do not follow her instruction or demand she started irritating, sometimes she speaks loudly and getting more and more angry. on 09.12.15, she bitten on my hand as I instructed not do something.
And whenever she is angry, she speaks loudly.

very sad to know that your little angel going through rough time which is giving trouble to rest of you as well. Just wanted to bring to your attention that most of the people who answer here are not professional doctors, but those who have interest in homeopathy and suggest remedy based on hit and trial method. If you have serious complicated condition you should approach experienced professional doctors instead of beating around bush and experimenting something irrelevant stuff. There are many professional homeopaths who provide online assistance after reading your case history.
