Dear Dr ,

She gets headaches anytime of the day but as far as i have noticed it is worse in the evening and in the late afterrnoons. The headache is mainly around the temple areas and it is a pulsating pain which she says sometimes also travels to her palm and legs. The headache can last from 5 minutes to hours and she doesnt feel like doing anything at that time. She gets relief by closing her eyes or maybe the pain is unbearable and she is forced to close her eyes.
She gets headaches occaisionaly meaning once in two days.

Her thyroid levels have gone down to 0.02 so her allopathic medicines have been reduced to 100mg x 6 days and no med on sundays.
Apart from that I have been giving her thyrodinium and Iodium as per your prescription. She also is putting " tears natural forte " by Alcon labs for her eye blinking problem as this problem had happened earlier also , around 2 years ago and it went off by this med but this time it is not going.

Pls advise

Dear Dr Mohla ,

I have a difficult situation .

I came to know from my daughter's friend that my daughter has been taking overdose of her thyroid medicine i.e. Thyronom 100 mg. She has been taking 400-500 mg daily just because her friends in school use to tease her for being overweight . My daughter wanted to lose weight fast so she took overdoses of thyroid medicine which she admitted today.

Her tsh levels were decreased to 0.02 which is quite low . She has increased heart beat , weakness , itching in her head , unable to sleep etc. I asked her doctor and she told me that maybe she is heading towards hyperthyroidism with increased levels of iodine levels . I will get her t3 t4 and tsh levels tmrw.

Maybe her eye blinking is beacuse kf this issue only. She is not making any facial gestures now but eye blinking is still there .

Pls help.

Hello Dr Mohla ,

Her tsh has gone down to 0.00 value and t4 and t4 are increased . I took her to the dr and she made her understand the repurcussions of the overdose.

Her bp was 90/50 .

Can you prescribe her medicine .

Rgds
