effexor withdrawl
Hi, I read other peoples withdrawl symptoms in this forum and was relieved that others feel the way I do. I was put on 75mg of Effexor 18 months ago. I tried getting off 3 times and my psychiatrist recommended that I drop down to 37.5 for 2 wks then try to quit. I was not ever informed of any withdrawl symptoms except I was told if I feel suicidal to call her. Well, I never have felt suicidal a day in my life so at least I have not at this point had to deal with that. I am now on my 4th attempt and I feel way better. First, I take a 75mg pill and open it up and divide the molecules. I dont count them, but the 1st week I cut the dose in half and did this for 1 week. I also toke 6 daily Omega 3 Capsules 2x before meals, along with 1 teaspoon of Barley Green (its a powder you mix with water or apple juice) and 1 capsule of Vitamin E. Omega 3 is a brain Vitamin and it really helps decrease light headed feelings and dizziness. The Barley Green is for all around feeling good and the Vitamin E enhances the Barley Green. I think the Barley Green detoxs you because i have developed diaherra. A funny little thing. I was in the store tonight and while I was shopping, I past gas, well I though I did, but it was much more. I diaherried in my pants. So I now know I have to be carefull where I go until this symptom disapates. The Vitamins really help and I wanted to share this with others. I ordered this stuff from the "Road Back" You can read more from their web site. Each week you lessen your dose of effexor along with the supplements and finish in 10 weeks. I am on week 5 with very little withdrawls. Also, you can get Cherry Extract for Aniexty, sleeplessness, &Depression. I am very thankful to the supplements and all of your comments. Peace
