I have been working on figuring this whole thing out....and we have eliminated that it is sunburn defiently....
Ice - decreases itch intensity
Heat - increases itch seemingly without limit
Sleep - only can sleep on stomach and aslong as I have a ice pack on my back.
eating - regular appetite
Hydration - drinking normal amounts of water (100 oz per day)
Rash - a rash broke out after 36 hours, don't know if it is from constant icing....or previous scratching...but haven't scratched it in 24hours and it grows.
experimenting - I've tried every type of lotion I could get my hands on....so I know it isn't dried skin or anything of that type. scratching it gives small relieve with increase intensity.

ok--1 pellet pulsatilla 200c (no handle with hands) in 4 oz of water..stir heavy --take teaspoon dose...in morning 1 hour before eating...only one dose
no rich foods and acidic foods for a while...this means no alcoholic beverages and coffee....
may need repaet dose--but post back after taking and access from there..

just an update....I've just came across another peice of the puzzle...the grass I layed in to rest after working for awhile had no weeds and was green and rich...which hints Fertilizer...I'm going to contact the owner of the property and figure out what type of fertilizer they use, to further in finding a solution
P.S. do I have to take pulsatilla with 4oz water? or can I just put the dose from the bottle under my tounge and let melt (I have the little balls..not powder)

use little balls in water as suggested (4 oz)--not a problem--stir heavy
take puls now---and let me know what exact fertilizer use (if anyat all)..

Hi, this is Leonel, I'm from Orlando Fl, and i'm having the exact same problem, I went to Daytona beack last weekend spent 4 hrs in the sun, this morning when I woke up my back was itching rly bad, I ran into my moms room and she put me some aloe lotion, nothing happend, went into the hsower with cold water, then tryed with hot water, still itching, I was running around cause I couldnt stop it, until my mom said it could be the transpiration, so I went back to the shower with cold water and stayed still sitting for like 45 mins and it basically stopped... the thing is that this morning when I woke up I had transpiraiton in my back, but not so much, and then It stopped, later today while cleaning my room and the office I started to perspise and the itching came back, for like 2 hrs I didnt know what to do... that made me look on the web and here I am.

Ok guys here are some things to stop the itch.
1) vinegar neautralizes the itch instantly but mostly for brief periods of time. After which I usually soak in a bath and take a long nap on my back. Laying on your back helps.
2)Lanacane totally stops the itch for 3-5 hours, usually it goes away within a day or so but it is quite annoying
