recurrent styes help..my eyes
Hi.. Im a student of homeopathy .I suffer frm frequent styes that are very very painful. Though I consulted an eye-specialist for this, he said that nothing can b done for this, you just take care of ur eyes, keep them clean, to prevent infection. I guess heres a room for homeopathy!!!(where alopaths cant do anything about tendency to fall sick)
I havent been able to find the cause of this, though Ive noticed that every stye is preceeded by some kind of exposure(probably to pollutants, extreme hot wheather..and sometimes nothing!!)
Wen the infection starts,(I have irritation on the eye-lid,followed by redness) , I take puls 30, which does not help always and wen stye has already formed, my doc(a homeopath of course!!) gives me bell.,hep. Sulph..then ther is discharge of bloody pus, then swelling goes away till the next one or 2 months,wen it reappears!
I went through several books; I could find 2 remedies for frequent styes:
Sulph 30 (take 4doses)
Apis (given in recurrent styes)
Can anyone pls suggest which one of these should I take or any other remedy?
My symptoms:stye always on left eye, mostly on lower lid. It is extremely painful, pain extending upto skin of temples of affected side.thirstless.slightly anemic.
(My recent one was actually a chalazion, on upper lid as I used some bad cosmetic product !!!)

When you are a student of homeopathy what tell your professors.There is nothing to be worried.Please take a dose of Sulphur 10M(dry dose) in the early morning without cleaning your mouth as Sulphur needs sticky saliva and bad odor of mouth.The dose should be taken 1 hour before your breakfast.Please dont use any tooth cleaning powder or paste consecutive 2 morning after taking medicine,keep your eyes clean.Avoid pickles,brinjal,excess sweets and milk for 2weeks.You have to wait for a month after taking the medicine but you update your progress after 2weeks for further suggestion.Wishes you the best.Malaker
