GERD: Please help me to get off Protonix Page 2 of 2

Barretts Esophagus will only result after at least a year of intense suffering from GERD and I would doubt that you have had this trauma as you may have posted for help before now.
The remedies I use for GERD which have worked in numerous cases which you can read by typing GERD into the Search forums cage on the left of this screen, are as follows:
Nat Phos 6x dose 4 tablets after 3 meals. This is presuming that you are a chronic case of GERD. Otherwise your standard dose is 2 tablets after 3 meals.
Arnica 30c in the wet dose to help cure the erosion of your Esophagus which you fear is Barrett's.
Please post your response after a few days on this therapy.
Stop all other drugs you have been prescribed up to now.
It would be useful if you can give us a history of your case with data on when you first noticed your gastric imbalance and what drugs you were prescribed for your ailment.

My wife has started taking Natrium Phosphoricum 6X 3 tablets after each meal (total 9 tablets), It is a pack of 20 g tablets. Is it the correct medicine and name. She has a chronic problem of gerd for the last 10 tears. Symptoms are heart burn and breathing problem at the time of gerd attack. She has consumed half bottle, but, there does not seem to be any improvement. She is also taking half tablet of allupathic medicine, becuase, if she does not take it, she can not sleep. She is bound to take this half medicine. One day she stopped taking this allupathic medicine, the attack was severe. Please advise under such situation.

Please increase the dosage of Nat Phos 6x to 4 tablets after each meal.
Have you forgotten to take the Arnica 30c in the wet dose ? This is an integral part of the therapy to over GERD. It is taken 3 times daily and the last dose just before sleep and she will sleep soundly.
No allopathic drugs can be used with the Homeopathic therapy as you are only wasting your time and antidoting the homeopathy.

i had 2 endoscopies that diagnosed barretts. i did not know of your forum before. my history is that i have had 'heartburn" for many, many years but have been taking papaya enzymes for years which quelled the burning. i recently went for a general checkup & had been reading about barretts & asked my md for an endoscopy which he laughed at & said you should take a colonoscopy which is more important. i had to insist & when i got the results, quickly changed md. i am 69yr female in good health except for osteoporosis. i work full time & walk daily & try to eat right. i use alot of homeopathic remedies for colds, gas, flu etc. i was prescribed acidphix & another md said i should take creow when i expressed concern that without acid to digest i wasnt getting enough nutrients. so would honey or apple cidar vinegar help. i have started on the nat phos 6x & wet arnica but this is a serious precancerous lesion (though small) & i am afraid to discontinue the acidphex.

I note that you have been diagnosed as positive for Barrett's. I presume that you are aware that you only have to thank your doctors for their handling of your hyperacidity during the past many years when you first showed signs of gastric distress which they would have treated with the antacids like Aluminium Hydroxide and later with H2 Blockers which would all have contributed to making a bad situation infinitely worse to the level at which it is today.
I note that you have commenced on the Nat Phos 6x / Arnica therapy and I hope and pray that they can help you even at this late stage. It seems so very unfair that specialists whom I presume you consulted in the past can possibly be still kept on the medical register but this is modern medicine for you.
I would recommend that you take 4 tablets Nat Phos 6x after each of 3 meals and the Arnica 30c in the wet dose 3 times daily for the first month and twice daily thereafter.
