Need advice on dosage
I have been taking alicylicum Acidum 6X for an ear noise and sensitivity problem. It has helped symptoms at least 50% for several months from almost the very beginning. Shall I use a different dosage to improve results, or maybe cure the problem? Thanks for any advice.ksaudio on 2004-10-16

My progress was quick and leveled out in a week or so. The problem is a high-pitched steady tone in the left ear, and hyper-sensitivity to midrange louder sounds in both ears, but worse in the right. By the way, I obviously left off the leading "S" in Salicylicum Acidum.

Stop the medicine now.
Wait for a week.
If the symtoms are same,without any further amelioration,take three doses of 30 potency.
Three doses only,one dose per day.
Observe the usual precautions, while taking the medicines.There should not be any odors, around you,on you (perfumes etc) or in your mouth.
Come back here and post the response one week after taking 30 potency.

Hahnemann's Law of Infinitesimals holds that the smaller the dose of a medication, the more powerful will be its healing effects. He taught that substances could be potentized (i.e., their "immaterial and spiritual powers" released to make active substances more active, and inactive substances active).

Since homeopathy works by catalyzing the body's ability to heal itself, stimulating the body's own auto regulatory or immune response mechanism if you will, the rapidity of action of the medicine will be proportionate to the intensity of symptoms prior to the dose. If the symptoms get markedly more intense, they simply are more vigorous or intense, cease the treatment as the body has responded and is actively healing itself.
