Hair Loss
Hi,I was lucky enough to stumble across this forum and I'm hoping that someone will be able to help me.
I have been losing hair from all over my scalp for about a year and a half now. My hair used to be quite thick, so it has taken a while for the loss to become really noticeable. I was alerted to the possibility that my hair loss wasn't entirely natural by the red spots on my scalp and the constant itchiness and flaking of my scalp. Also my hair loss isn't confined to the areas usually associated with male pattern baldness. At this point my hair is pretty lifeless, and it feels extremely weak. My hair falls out directly from the root, often attached to flakes from my scalp.
I have been to my doctor a number of times in an effort to get to the root (sorry) of the problem. My doctor does not believe that I'm suffering from male pattern baldness, but no suitable explanation for the hair loss has thus far been given.
I am a 21 year old male, with no history of baldness in either side of my family. Any help/advice/remedies would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Thanks for replying. I wouldn't say that I suffer from headaches more than most people do, but I do have a tendency to worry about things more than I should. Ever since my hair started falling out I've also been feeling quite low and depressed. That has been getting worse as my hair loss has become more noticeable and I find myself retreating more and more into my shell.

Hi again. I've been taking Silicea and Argent Nitricium for the last month as you advised. I combined that with some other lifestyle changes (changing the shampoo and hair wax that I had been using for sometime).
Over the last month there have been noticeably fewer spots on my scalp and the general irritation and itchiness that used to be so unbearable has also diminished considerably. I am still experiencing some hair loss, though it is difficult to measure whether the rate of loss has changed.
I was wondering whether the improvement in my symptoms is a likely consequence of the silicea and argent nit. or my discontinuation of the products that I had been using in my hair. Also should I continue taking the argent nit and silicea?
Thanks for all your help.
