pink eye

hello...my 9 year old daughter came home from school today with pink eye...her symptoms are; redness, burning and itching in her right eye. is there a homeopathic remedy to treat this condition? my son had this a few years ago and was treated with antibiotic drops in the eyes for about a week...i would like to aviod this if possible. i would appreciate any suggestions. thank you....

Belladona 200.Single dose.

Make sure that there are no odors around you,on you(perfumes etc),and in the mouth of your daughter,before opening the vial.

you may try Argentum Nitricum 30, 6 doses, morning night and wash eyes with euphrasia Q 10 drops in a bowl of water. Has helped my family a lot. do this only if belladonna does not help much

I am reminded of an incident in Hanemann's life.

One washerwoman came to him with some symptoms,which were there for almost a weak,and he gave her a drop of the medicine.His friend was watching all this.

After a week,his friend again met him,and asked about the washerwoman.Hanemann said she didn't come back.Hanemann said "I am sure by now,she is cured".

His friend is not convinced.So,he went to the washerwoman's locality,found her,and asked her,how she is,and why she didn't come back.

She said,

"What is the point? I got relief within a day.Now, I have so much work pending,that I can't afford to come back and tell you,that I am cured."

The friend has no words to say.

thank you for your suggestions...my daughters eye cleared up quite nicely with one dose of belladona...i did not have 200 so i gave her 30c...the next day it was still alittle itchy...but the redness, mattering and burning was completely gone....thank you so much...

There is also on old story of the mother with a baby with severe colic. Someone told her to go to that odd herbal doctor. She did and the baby was cured. 20 years later the mother, now a grandmother, searches him out again and asks him to now cure her granddaughter as he is the best colic doctor in town! Short sighted, eh? Sabra

For all I know,euphresia eyes are watery and the water excoriates.It is a symptom to be looked for not only in coryza,but in other problems,without coryza also.
