The ABC Homeopathy Forum

13 month old baby -constantly vomiting Page 2 of 2

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Thanks and I admire for your lot of experience.

When I saw the last pages of Materia Medica under the head of 'RELATIONSHIP OF REMEDIES' then I find that under Column Remmedies that follow well) against Ipec. the following are the remedies thatfollow well:

Aranea, Nt. Crud. Ant T. Apis, Arnica, Ars., Bell., Bry. Cact. etc.

Similarly against Ars. although it antidotes Ipec. but at the same time under Column Remmedies that follow well)it is appearing as it follows well.'

There was no need in refering it to you or creating any controversy with you but as you have mentioned on this Forum, I thought to bring it to your kind notice.

However, for immediate need the child responded to the suggested remedies. It is not a chronic case but I felt that some times urgent remedies are required based on whatever symptoms are availale at that time.

For further course of action I leave it to you to suggest for the patient.

Dear Rajendra

Discussion helps all of us. The debate is not for scoring points, but to get mutual benefit.

Different authors give different remedy relationships, and there are minor variations between one another.

An antidote is some times listed as a follower too, becuse it helps to remove the excessive action of the previous medicine.

I will write seperately on remedy relationships.

May I know which materia medica you are referring to?

This is

'Homeopathic Materia Medica' by William Boericke, M.D.

which contains in the last the Relationship of Drugs by

R. Gibson Miller''

published by
B Jain Publishers, New Delhi'

Have you consulted the local doctor?
Repeting the earlier advice:

'Did notice that the palms of his hands look orange in color. ??'

May not be jaundice or lever problem.

Pl. consult local doctor.

For jaundice/lever problem I suggest - Chelidonium Q ( 5 drops in a spoon of water) atleastr 3 times a day preferably 1/2 an hour of meals

Thank you everyone. I followed Dr. Mahfooz's last suggested remedies.

My grandson is back to normal - the orange disappeared from his hands a day later. He is eating normally and getting back to his regular routine little by little.

A little background on me:
My father was an MD who specialized in homeopathy. He passed away in 1949. I have followed his teachings, using only homeopathic remedies all my life except for one or two instances. I raised my three children in the same manner and am now trying to help my daughters raise their children similarly.
Your help is much appreciated.

I too am happy that the case is resolved, though a bit late.

Is this the last prescription you tried?

1. Kali Phos-6x
2. Claceria Phos-6x
3. Ferrum Phos-6x

Yes, that was the last prescription and that was after he had stopped vomiting and was keeping food down for two days. He had obviously lost weight and was weak.

He is now back to his energetic baby self trying to walk without any help.

Thank you for your input and concern.

The tissue salts are good for recouping from illness, and more than one can be taken simultaneously.

This is because they act pathologically, since some medicine is physically present in them though in minute quantities.

They don't interfere with homeopathic potencies, and can be used along with homeopathic medicines.

Thanks for the feedback.
