Cystic Acne for years!! Help!
I have had acne for 12 years now and I have had 3 children since then. My youngest is 9 months old. I have noticed that my acne is getting worse in the years...not better. Now I am getting cystic acne on my chin and mostly on my jawline. I also get acne on my temples, forehead, chin and blackheads on nose, chin, forehead. I have tried minocycline, doxycycline but their side effect make me ill. I also have tried prescription creams: RetinA, and others. I've tried ProActive and that did NOTHING. I also did IPL laser treatment and I think that made it worse. Now I am hoping something natural will help. What can I do to fix this mess. I am starting to get scarring now and this acne is really effecting my confidence. What herbal treatments do you recommend?abreen on 2007-11-01

You have visited a lot of physicians about this. I want to know what suggestions were given to prevent scar and other complication.
Your case is a complicated case of acne due to underlying hormones distrubance or genetic causes. It may be also from starting birth control pills or stopping that, pregnancy, greasy makeup,etc.
I would like to advise your for its treatment and management.

*no allergies
*great blood pressure
*3 c-sections in the last 4 years
*1 knee surgery in 1997 (torn ACL)
*No health problems, just this annoying acne.
*I am 5'5' tall, weight 160 lbs, 24 years old
*no very active, just started working out regularly.
*I currently have and IUD with small amount of progesterone in it.
If there is anything else you need please let me know.

They will make you worse in the long run.

What about Arnica 30c? I read that it should be helpful in getting rid of acne. If so how much and how often?

I decided to follow the advice I received earlier. I ordered Sulphur 30X and I will write back a week after I take the two tablets. Just to be sure...I take both at the same time? I got the Sulphur 30X 2 inch diameter.

hello iam new to the forum. I have similar symptoms. Bythe way I am mathew (31 yrs old-married) and live in the US. I have the same problem. lots of scarring, and ocational break outs. I tried everything and was on my way to do laser and thought i will do somereasearch and came across the silicea thread. i got excited and haven't tried anyof it. i ordered silicea 6c from luckyvitaminesdotcom and waiting. iam following this thread closely.

Thanks for the info. let me know how that works for you. I was recently told to try Pulsatilla 30c two pill at night for 7 days wait a week and then report back (faisal qureshi) reccomended this. Said my problem could be hormonal. Wish me luck
