cold sinusitis
my son is 8 years old. of late he has more colds.the symptoms are 1.irritation of nose.2.sometimes blocking and sneezing 3. no running nose. 4. no cough/throat /phlegm infections5.problems start after a head bath.anti histamines immediately solves the problem6.we live in colombo where humidity is high 7 when we went on a tour of south India esp Tamil nadu surprisingly he did no catch even a single colds or have nose irritationAre there any homeopathic medicines to help him. he is active does athletics and swimming

If the problems start after a head bath, give him a dose of Belladona 200c before the head bath and post your observations for further analysis.

the child is very active/talkative has many friends does athletics and likes swimming a lot. good in studies, but lacks concentration because impatient to go in to details.if made to sit and study he will be at top three in the class
likes cartoons/ jetix channel favorite and of course harry potter/ and computer games
he has irritation of nose/ reddness in eye to one side/ sometimes nose block/sneezing no cough/ rarely fever has a tendency of nose -pulling due to irritation which affects his sleep and studying some times. some times /rarely complains of head ache.if complains of head ache 50 percent chances are there he might get a fever
very poor eater on his own.

please try DULCAMARA 30C every 4 hours whenever he gets a blocked nose after a head bath.three doses maximum in any one episode.
do this during such episodes for some weeks and note if the intensity and frequency is decreasing.
alternatly, PULSATILLA 30C every 4 hours may be tried if dulcamara doesnt work.same regime.

Pl refer to my post of 27/11/2007 on this subject and to the suggestions given by you.

i didnt try this that time as I was new to homeopathy.
But now I am really interested and have given him bell 200 every sunday when he has a head bath . This remedy has really worked for him so far

HE goes for swimming every Friday in school . He wears his swimming cap. Every Sunday he has a head bath, warm shower. I have given him Bell 200c for the last three Sundays. he hasn't had a cold so far after this treatment

Though it can act prophylactically, it may not build the immunity as such. For that his constitutional remedy needs to be found out.
Try it for three more sundays. Don't give Bell on the fourth Sunday and see what happens.
