You know my son, he's the one I wanted to start on Baryta Carb 30c. He's 9 yrs old. He's had strep, dxed Christmas day, 10 days of Amoxycilan and then symptoms returning 2-3 days after finishing antibiotics. Glands under jaw hurt, espcially left side, breath smelled like something rotten (bacteria, almost a fishy smell), throat hurt when he swallowed.I gave him 4 wet doses of Belladonna 12c Tuesday, 2 Wednesday and one Thursday morning (he asked for it as he knew he needed it for the throat hurting when he swallowed again. Beginning Wednesday night he complained that he feels dizzy and it feels like the bed is spinning when he lies down to go to sleep. I know belladonna has big psycho effects. How long before this passes?
He is now free of the sore throat and swollen glands, the headache. etc. But he is starting to have a little cough now and some post nasal drip, cough worse at night, nose a little stuffy, more at night.

many times cough is the symptom of curing. Deposits on the throats are moving and giving the itchy feeling. Check if the cough is due to that kind of irritation.
And also water nose too is the symptom that he is curing unless he feels broken and beaten up.
Kali Bichromate 30 hourly in day time for two days will finish the job.
