Tonsillectomy?
Hi everyone. I am grateful for this forum. For the past 5 months I havn't been able to pop my ears.
It keeps getting worse.
My tonsils are constantly inflamed.
sometimes it sounds like I'm under water.
I just went to a ENT specialist and they concluded that my hearing and my ears are fine (which surprised me)
I've had two doctors tell me that my tonsills are so big that they are causing my eustachian tubes to shut.
I used to get a lot of strep throat as a child, but not that much anymore.
This problem is driving me insane.
I have a scheduled tonsillectomy coming up.
I don't know if this is the right thing to do.
I'm a 20 year old male.
If anyone can please offer me any insight on how to fix this problem I would be so very grateful.
I eat a good diet, very very little dairy (the occasional cheese on the pizza)
If I am allergic to something,
it has followed me through the states.
No matter where I stay, where I sleep,
this problem just keeps getting worse.....
