The ABC Homeopathy Forum

piles, hemorrhoids, fisure

Seeking some help here. I have experienced intermitent pain and ocassional bleeding when going to the toilet for a few years now and in the past months it got worse so I decided to seek homeopathic help first, before going through the uncomfortable experience of visiting a proctologist. This is my first time with this homeopathic specialist so I am not sure in how much in good hands I am for this and that is why I am looking for additional help in this forum to validate what I have been prescribed.

I am not even sure if these are hemorrhoids or a fisure in the rectum. I have checked with a mirror and there doesn't seem to be any visible signs of external piles. Maybe just a bit swollen around the area. However, the pain is there and gets better and worse as weeks go by and I do get ocassional bleeding which is typically when the pain is worse.

The doctor prescribed Sulphur 200CD3C 1 a day for 3 days and then Sulphur 200C 5 pellets 2 times a day for an undetermined amount of days. He said that if I was not well in 2 months, that I should go see him again to try something different. It has now been the 2 months and I have been taking the Sulphur dose twice a day. I can say that I have been better over this time, although not completely well.

My questions are, is this Sulphur 200C 2 dosages a day the right treatment for this? Should I keep taking it for a longer time period and see if eventually I do get completely well? Is there any harm that I am exposed to by taking this for an indefinite time?

Thanks in advance for any guidance provided.

dear patient,

sulpher is good, deep seated remedy for such problems but its repitation would be considered as per healing process of the disease.

I second the suggestion of Dr.Mahfooz.
Additionally, at night take two doses of Nux vomica 200 in a gap of two hours.
For one week.

Sulphur 200 has to be taken in the morning.Once a week is sufficient.

Ye dr. pankaj varma, I do agree with you the combination of both these remedies ( sulpher at morning and Nux at night) usually gives very good results in majority of the cases.

My local homeopathic pharmacy would not sell Nux Vomica 200 to me. Only in 30. Will this be good enough? If so, what dosage should I take of this Nux Vomica 30?

Also, as for the Sulphur 200, should I continue to take this daily or just once a week?

Thank you.

reed66 last decade
For the last 6 weeks, I have been taking Sulphur 200 in the morning and two dozes of Nux Vomica at night, in a gap of two hours as recommended.

Unfortunately the problem still persists. I am having the same pain, which calms down for a few days but comes back and sometimes is very extreme. I am also still bleeding occasionally when going to the toilet.

Should I try something different?

Thank you again for your help.

Thank you very much Dr. Mahfooz. I will report back in a week.

Reporting back after a week:

Have been taking: Nitric Acid-200 ( 3 drops one dose at night) and Ratanh-30 (3 drops per dose thrice a day).

I am much better now although I would not feel comfortable to say that I am cured. This is because the symptoms have regularly come and gone over the last year or so. The pain gets very critical about every 4 to 8 weeks, lasts for about 4 to 6 days and then calms down. 4 to 8 weeks later, the same cycle occurs.

To be certain that the problem has been cured, I would have to wait about 2 months and then, if all is well, I can be certain.

The question is, should I keep taking the same Nitric Acid and the Ratanh, with the same doses, over the next two months? Or, should I change medication / dose?

Thank you very much again or your help. At least now I am much better but I would like to ensure that I am cured for good.
Thanks.

Hello,

I followed instructions. Stopped remedies for 2 weeks and then took medicine for a week: Nitric Acid-200 (3 drops one dose at night) and Ratanh-30 (3 drops per dose thrice a day).

I have been better during these past 3 weeks in the sense that I have not had the intense pain that I occassionally had before but I must say that I am not completely well. I still have constant minor pain, sometimes better sometimes worse, and ocassional bleeding when going to the toilet.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could please recommend what I should do next. Should I continue with the current medication? Should I try something different?

Thank you very much once again.

Hello Dr. Mahfooz,

I have done as instructed, stopped medication and have taken good amount of fibres in my diet for the past 2 weeks.

Unfortunately I have not been well. Over the past 2 weeks I have been having the same pain, which calms down for a few days but in recent days has been quite extreme. It is practically the same as it was before I started any treatment.

While I was taking Sulphur 200 in the morning and two dozes of Nux Vomica at night, I was much better although never completely well.

Should I go back to the same medication? Should I try something different?

Thank you again for your help.

reed66 last decade
Sorry to insist but I just want to know if I should try taking the medication for a longer period of time or if there is any risk for me in taking it for an extended amount of time.

Is there another treatment that I could try?

Thank you.

Please follow the advice of learned doctor mrmahfoz,as pilestake a longer time to cure. You have to change your foods if you like to remain under homeopathic treatment.Avoid all foods that create constipation and patient himself is a doctor to detect the problem which food or drink create constipation. Please remember that constipation is your is your main enemy. Please drink sufficient water and fibired food. Thanks malaker

Dr.Haran ch malaker last decade
Thank you Dr. Haran.

I have been following the fibre diet and have been drinking plently of water also. I rarely ever experience constipation.

What I would like to know is if I can continue the medical treatment or if it is not recommended to do so after what I have taken as instructed.

Please advice?

Thank you.

I never received a reply to my last post where I expressed that I am still not well. Should I interpret this as Homeopathy no longer being a suitable remedy for me and that I should seek an alternative solution?

Thank you-.

Dear patient,
Do not loose hope.Homeopathy can help you.Try Ratanhia 200c 2 drops morning and evening and Paeonia 200c 2 drops noon and night,ie; alternately for 1 week, you will be cured.

I have had pilesfor the last 15 years now. Every year, especially during the dry season of fall, my condition used to get worse with terrible pain and inflammation after defecation.A few months ago I tried Homeopathic tablets called 'Bio-Combination 17(BC-17)' which provided me immediate relief. My pain episodes are almost down to none now.Thought I should share this with people with the same problem
out there.BC-17 is manufactured by almost all the homeopathic pharma companies. The ones I tried are by 'Reckeweg & Co' and 'SBL Pvt Ltd'. Both were equally effective.
