nothing has happned, I still have floaters and I have learnt to live with them though it is very difficult

I too have a floater problem in both the eyes. As given on the forums i took phosphorus 200 5-6 doses with a gap of 3 days each. the medicine gives me a relief immediately as the floaters become light and easier to bear but after a day or two start reverting back to their original dark condition. If any one can give me some suggestions as to how to carry forward from here, i would be very grateful. i have had these floaters for 30 years( i am 44 now) but the condition aggravated over the last 6-8 months

if you have got temporary relief, it means you are responding.
please take one dose of PHOSPHORUS 10M and wait for 15 days for your body to respond.
check if you get a relief for a longer time.

thanx rishimba. Ihope their are no side effects of a stronger dose. i have heard that phosphorus is a deep acting medicine and should be taken with caution. kindly advice

you should not repeat this dose till i tell you.
just take one dose of 10m and wait for response.

A single drop , or even just olfacting the vial constitute the single dose in Homoeopathy.

I forgot to add that when I took phosphorus 200 potency I had severe palpitations for two days and had to discontinue the medication and take an antidote. Therefore I am scared to take a high potency of 10m, kindly advice.

Hi,
I am writing this almost after 18 months, there has been no improvement in my floaters. But last week i was adviced by some one to keep rubbing between you index and ring finger with your thumb and this may help you. I have been doing it for 4 to 5 days , let us all try if it helps. By the way I did try phosporous again but no help.

Hi All,
I am also taking homeopathy medicines since three months but no luck.These day my doctor is giving me phosphorus medicine and also side by side i m taking some ayurvedic medicine.
Lets hope for some good results soon.

Remember homoeopathy is patient specific rather than Disease specific. It is like tailor made rather ready made.
If someone prescribe for a case with phosphorus or something else then that remedy must match the corresponding other personality trait of that person. There are about 87 medicines mentioned under Rubric(technical language of Homeopathic Index book). So ur physician will only decide one only of them.

These is no change in my floater problem , it is still the same . I have seen a lot of Dr's and my experience is as follows and hope this will help you as well :
If the floaters are due to some injury than there are chances you may recover , but if it is natural than there is no cure !
The medicens do not reach this part of Retina as there are no blood vessels , so cure kind of impossible.
I have also see quite a few Elopath Dr's they only advice operation , but when I went to Chennai's Shankar Netrayalay the Dr's said if you go for an operation it is like if you have pain in you leg and we break the bone and fix it . So do not even think of operation , it may lead to other problems .
Since then I have told myself to live with it and now I have got used to ot . I know it is difficult but once you think you would get used to it.
Don't see any Dr just tell yourself I have to live with it . And I am sure you would be fine .

Also, while searching for info on net i came across a dr in america who claims to have operated on 2500 patients with a minimal laser procedure with a sucess rate of 90% with 0 complications.
He claims to have developed his own laser lenses and technique, have u heard abt it?
also in one other homeopathic forum i have come across a homeopath who also claims that he can provide a cure to eye floaters. Just confused hat to do?

correctly said , operation is not the answer , but if you think you can help us with Homeo , I still have faith . Please recommend your medicine . Since I am writing , I may mention , I have developed Harnia , again the answer is operation , but I am under Homeopathy treatment and taking Lycopodium 200 every week for last 2 months and now have been asked to take it after 15 days , what is your take , can Homeo cure Harnia ?

As i have already mentioned that in homeopathy we have lots of remedy about the floaters but we choose medicine according to patients personality, consitutional symptoms , u can say person as man.
So better to contact a good homeopath near by or take online treatment from us.
Regarding Hernia this can be well treated provided the condition and accompanying complaint. Don't take Lyco blindly.

Thanks for such a quick reply . I had seen Dr Kalyan Banarjee in Delhi and took med for 1 year , also two more Dr's but could not get relif for floaters . Regarding Harnia I am in treatement with Dr at Homeopathy college in Delhi . But just wanted reassurance weather Homeo can cure Harnia , as Elopaths have chllanged me to take homeopathy for 6 months or more but I would have to get it operated finally .

Yes Homeopathic medicine must always be taken under strict supervision of a qualified homeopath, not by someones suggetion in allopathic way that this or this medicine is very good for such and such complaint.
I have not seen/know yr complaint exactly hence can not complaint.
Always see the approach of a Homeopath towards the case rather than his name or fame. If the homeopath is enquiring enough and giving medicine according to persons symptoms that will be fine and if he is just seeing reports, prescribing by name of disease better to leave . :)

I am also suffering from the same problem and i have already gone through various homeopathy medicines but no luck at all. If u will reach to any homeopathy they will say like we have lots of medicines in homeopathy however none of these will get the benefit. Till date i did not meet anyone who is suffering from eye floaters and he said i got the benefit with any of the homeopathy medicines or another pathy. I believe if u r suffering from eye floaters then it will be there life long reason being there is no treatment as of now available. We have tune ourself to make habitual or part of life. This is what i have learnt till date and tell to others also.

I totally agree , there is no cure for floaters if they have come naturally and not through any injury . One has to get used to living with it .

Hi Himanshu,
I had taken around 6 months homeopathy treatment earlier but no luck at all. So i stopped it. Sometimes i feel that its increasing. Now Doctors are saying that these are scotomas and they will remains in the eyes and will not increase and they generated because of laser operation for retina problem. Scotomas are the small particles which is floating at the retina surface not on the vitreous. I have also taken medicine from Dr. Ravi Lucknow but no luck.
