I dream like I'm watching a movie, a whole story, not about me or people I know. I only remember snatches when I wake and they don't make any sense, often it is sci fi!
I fear for the people I love, I am always worrying about them. Other fears - I cannot swim or ride a bike, I have been told it is fear, more like lack of confidence.
Do you feel worse in warm rooms?
Yes, definitely
Do you feel better in open air?
Yes, But I don't like cold weather, especially snow.

This morning I have ahd those sharp stabbing pains around my middle, the same as I had with the sulphur before. Flashes are still regular and hot. Also have a slight eye irritation.

No, I couldn't say that. I am happiest at home with my husband. I'm not really interested in going out to visit friends but I need to be with my husband.

Here is what I suggest:
Take Ferr Phos 6X - 4 tablets at a time - upto 4 times a day on need basis. Post feedback.
Also procure Kali Phos 6X and Calc Phos 6X.

Do flashes occur when you are outside?
Yes but unless I am in the sun they seem more bearable.
Can you describe the hot flash and the aftermath?
It starts around my middle and moves up my body to chest, head, face, and then my arms and hands. My legs and feet also get hot but the 'rush' is upwards.
Then I start to perspire on my hands, body and face. The feeling is that I want to throw off my clothes. I usually feel the need to sit down.
Do you have night sweats?
yes, especially right after getting into bed. The warmth of the bed makes it worse and I cannot lay on my back because it feels too hot.
Are you clingy then to your husband?
I wouldn't say I was clingy, we are comfortable with each other's company. I do worry about him when he out though.

How is your thirst?
Have you noticed what aggravates/ ameliorates the symptoms?
Explain me this: You like to stay indoors with your husband but are better outside if it is warm.

How is your thirst?
I have a dry mouth but most of the time I am not actually very thirsty, maybe first thing in the morning.
Have you noticed what aggravates/ ameliorates the symptoms?
Aggravation from touch, movement, any kind of external heat and anxiety, being in a warm room, the warmth of the bed.
A cool shower or wash helps, I use a cold wet flannel on my forehead in bed at night. Sipping cold water helps a little. Standing or sitting in cool air, for instance beside a fan.

I do feel better in the open air rather than indoors. I like to get outside at least once during the day.
I prefer to stay at home with my husband rather than to go out somewhere like dinner with friends, basically I just can't be bothered with anything.
I asked my husband if he thought I was clingy and he said no, but he thought some people may possibly see it that way, he preferred to describe me as very affectionate.
I have also thought of two more things.
1 My eyes are very sensitive to bright light. Quite often I wear sun glasses even in the winter. In the summer I cannot go outside without them. Most people can take them off to have a photo taken for example but when I take mine off I immediately have to screw up my eyes to see. I have noticed when with a group of people that I am always worse than every one else in this respect.
2 If I hear a piece of music in the evening it will stick in my head all night and keep me from sleeping properly. It just goes on and on and I can't seem to do anything about it. I haven't always had this problem, I like listening to music.

Pl take Sepia 30C in wet dose. Upto 2 or 3 doses per day on need basis till change is triggered.
Stop Ferr Phos 6X.

I haven't got 30C, would 6C work as well or would that be more likely to cause an aggravation? I could get some tonight if that is the case I don't want to mess this up.
Thanks
Thanks

Prefer Sepia 30C.

I have been taking the 30C twice a day. The flashes initially get worse but then get a bit better but it only lasts about 4 hours, then I go back to normal. Do I need to adjust the dose? Succuss more?
winnieandco last decade
There are couple of alternatives:
Wet dose method: Increasing the doses per day on need basis. Make afresh if you suspect the efficacy of the bottled remedy.
Take a dry dose of 30C and observe. If it is not giving lasting relief, you need 200C.

It has been a while so I will bring you up to date. The sepia was not working. I tried a dry dose with no effect so then II made a fresh batch with water and started again. I was very patient but nothing happened. I had no improvement at all, I was really miserable. I was about to go away on vacation and I was really worried about being able to handle this, especially when trapped on a plane for a few hours. A few days before I left I started taking ferrum phos,6x, (you had mentioned this to me once before but it got side lined when the previous remedy started to work) I knew it wasn't likely to cure the problem but at this stage I was just wanting some relief. After a couple of days the flashes were easing up a bit, for the last two weeks I have been taking a dose regularly four times a day. The flashes have improved to the extent that I now have one every 4 hours (on average) rather than every 50 mins. They are also less intense with much less sweat. I know that you can take cell salts for a long time, I was hoping to increase the gaps between doses but when I tried this the flashes increased.
Would a 30x have a different effect and can it give you aggravavtions?
I thought that if I stayed on this for a while to let things settle down and to clear out all the past remedies from my system then maybe in a few weeks (or months) time I can reassess and perhaps choose a new remedy to start over.

Stay with Ferr Phos 6X.
You can add a dose of Mag Phos 6X and see what effect it has on you. Try a dose before you sleep for a few days.
How are the other chronic problems?

There has been no change to the other chronic problems. I am not doing quite so well now. I am a bit stressed and I think this is interfering, but I'm going to keep going for a while. I need to make sure there is no left over effects from previous remedies.

I have stopped taking everything for the last few days. I have been experiencing extreme stiffness in my legs and feet whenever I stand after I have been sitting down for a while. The flashes are still doing better than previously. I am a lot better in the morning but get worse late afternoon and evening. At night I have been sleeping much better getting as much as 4 hours at a stretch.
