Stop once she has started to improve.

These are energy medicines and all you need is to stimulate the body's reaction. Once the reaction startes, all further doses are useless.

Thanks..I will stop giving it to her then.

I took the ignatia 30c as advised 4 days ago (wednesday). It's been somewhat up & down since then. Right after taking the 1 rst dose, I seemed to be feeling pretty well. The next day (thursday) I had a lot of anger and irritability (aggravation?). The day after (friday) I felt better over all; less irritable and angry. Saturday was pretty good until I was under quite a bit of stress to leave the house with the kids and I got really upset really fast with them. I just seem to 'lose it' so much faster and stronger than I used to in the past. I feel terrible that my kids have to endure this! I feel I should mention that I took 2 other medicines since yesterday. I have been dealing with a persistent yeast infection (that's what I think it is at least from past experience) that is very itchy in the evening especially. It has been going on for several months. I also have itchy hemorhoids that have been around since my second child was born. I self diagnosed and have taken 2 doses (once per day for 2 days) of both Nux Vom 30c and Sulphur 30c. Nux Vom for the hemorrhoids and Sulphur for the yeast infection. I also figured Nux Vom might also be helpful for my emotional state since I am harried & stressed and it is commonly indicated for these issues. Hopefully that is OK. Please let me know if I should not have done so and how to best proceed. Thanks so much for your continued help.

One thing I have to make clear, if you are going to self prescribe remedies and that too deep acting medicines like Sulphur without consulting with me , that will just make all this so much difficult. And, with 2 medicines on the same day , you are going to mess up your case very badly. These are not regular over the counter allopathic pills, that you can take whenever you deem it necessary, these are extremely deep acting energy medicines which are to be handled with extreme caution. In any case , you could have pospted your hamorhoids problem here , and there was no justification for self-prescribing.

In case, you are fine with not self-prescribing under ANY circumstances (you are free to take allpathic medicines yourself), only then can I continue to help you.

Sorry...I didn't realize that would possibly mess things up. I will not self prescribe any more. It is confusing since here in the US, homeopathic meds are seen as being very safe and almost inert and offered in many combination pills for symptomatic relief which, I know, goes against true homeopathic philosophy. Nevertheless, there is so much seemingly contradictory views on how one can take homeopathic medicines that I wasn't thinking it would be such a big deal to self prescribe for something small. But I will definitely not do so again. Please advise on where you think I should go from here. Thanks.

FYI, Ignatia is highly INIMICAL to Nux Vomica and that could be the reason for the bad aggravation.

When did you take the Nux dose ? Was it before your Nux dose or after your Nux dose that you seemed to 'lose it so much faster ' ?

sameervermani last decade
I took the first Nux dose Saturday, so... after the aggravation. The 'losing it so much faster' has been a trend in the past couple weeks with some days being better than others.

Okay, let us give your body a few more days to cool off from so many remedies, and if need be we can anti-dote.

No further remedies, update me in 5 days from now.

Sameer.

sameervermani last decade
OK..I will update in 5 days as advised. thanks

mommyto3cuties last decade
Hi Sameer,

It's been 6 days now. I've been up & down when it comes to my emotional state (ie irritability and temper) The one thing I would like to mention is that for the last week or so, I have been quite itchy on my torso with no visible reason; no bites or rashes that are apparent. The itchiness occurs mainly on my chest right below my neck and on my upper arms & shoulders. I don't feel it all the time but it comes and goes. It seems to maybe be worse in the evening and the morning.

Where do we go from here?

mommyto3cuties last decade
Please take 3 doses of Calcarea Carb 30c equally spaced for a single day ONLY.

1 dose = 1 teaspoon from a small bottle of spring water where 2 pellets of Calc 30c have been dissolved.

Please report in 5 days after the 3 doses.

Some restrictions:
1/. Nothing should enter the mouth for 40 minutes prior to, or after taking the remedy.
2/. Do not touch the tablets with your hands, tip them into the cap of the container they came in and then into the water .
3/. Avoid coffee, tea (including green), and other sources of caffeine such as some fizzy drinks and large amounts of chocolate, except where this would cause a drastic change in consumption
4/. Avoid wearing perfume/aftershave, or exposure to anything with a strong smell while under treatment. This includes any and all essential oils, and incense.
5/. Avoid the consumption of excessively spicey foods
6/. The use of medicinal herbs, either as 'teas' or supplements should be avoided during Homoeopathic treatment, as should the use of over the counter medication, unless this has been recommended by an MD.
7/. Nothing of a medicinal nature should be applied to the skin

OK, thanks.

Hi Sameer,

It has been 6 days since I took the 3 doses of Calc. Carb as prescribed. On the first evening after my 3rd dose, I developped some cold like symptoms (runny nose &such) that lasted into the night. I woke up several times toward morning having to blow my nose. By morning though, the symptoms were gone and I haven't had them since. I have remained quite itchy for no apparent reason (no visible rash) however, I think the itchiness is moving down my body. It was originally on my shoulders and upper arms and upper chest near the throat but it has since worked its way down to my stomach and my thighs. I pretty much only get itchy in the late evening/night. Otherwise, emotionally it has been very up & down. i definitely have many times when I just 'lose it' and it is very hard because then I feel so bad for yelling at my kids. I was never like this before! (When I say 'before', I guess I can date it back to my 3rd pregnancy when I got very anxious & depressed & started the Zoloft) But even since then, it had gotten so much better for such a long time and it's only been in the last 3 to 4 months that it has gotten so bad! I'm curious as to where you think my case is. Did I mess it up pretty bad by taking those other remedies? Just for my own personal understanding, what was your reasoning for prescribing the Calc. Carb. this last time? Was it meant to antidote something or just to work on the current symptom picture?
Anyway, thank you for your continued advice.

mommyto3cuties last decade
I gave it according to the current symptom picture as I think it is a part of your case, and I could not go back to Ignatia directly after Nux Vomica. Let us wait for 4 more days, as itchiness is a good sign, and might signal that the remedy is working.

If nothing changes, we will go back to Ignatia as that was the remedy I think which is the outermost layer. We will go to a 200c this time.

Please procure it and let me know when you have it with you.

sameervermani last decade
OK, I will get the Ignatia 200c and write back in 4 days.
Thanks.

mommyto3cuties last decade
Oh..the other thing I forgot to mention that may or may not be helpful info is that for the past month or 2, I have been bruising much easier than I ever have before and they last quite a while too.

mommyto3cuties last decade
It has been 4 days. I ordered the ignatia 200c and it should be arriving tomorrow or so. Iwas not as noticibly itchy for a few days and then last night I was quite itchy on my thighs. My temper seems to be a bit better. I don't feel quite as depressed and quite so volatile but not in a dramatic way...just a little different. However, I have been feeling like my impulse control has dulled. Example: my daughter accidentaly steps on my foot in an awkward position and it really hurts and I yell out raise my hand as if I am going to slap her (which I don't of course) but my husband said it looked very frightening and is definitely out of character. This has happened several times where the kids accidentaly do something that either hurts me(physically) or makes a huge mess and I just impulsively yell and then stop myself. It's different than the all out rage from before as it's very impulsive and I am able to stop myself from just yelling extensively or being furious for a long while after. Not sure what that's about!

'My temper seems to be a bit better. I don't feel quite as depressed and quite so volatile but not in a dramatic way...just a little different.'

This is pointing to a favorable reaction. We will wait for 1 more week, to see if you get further benefit.

No medicines, keep waiting, and update me in 1 week.

sameervermani last decade
OK...will do! Thanks.

Hi Sameer,
Sorry it's been so long...it's been difficult to know what to think of my disposition because I am weaning myself off the Zoloft slowly and during the times when I lower my dose, i definitely seem to be more volatile & get angry quickly. Overall, I would say that I am less depressed than I was for a while but the anger is still there. I find myself wanting to swear when I am angry & short tempered with the children and that is not typical for me. Can you tell me what your thoughts are at this point for my case and where I should go from here? Thank you!

mommyto3cuties last decade
I will look into the case from the very beginning. Give me a couple of days.

sameervermani last decade
Dear mommyto3,

I went through the case again. We should go to Calcarea Carb 200c at this time.

JUST 1 dose.

Dissolve 2 pellets in a little water , and sip it slowly. make sure nothing enters the mouth 1 hour before and 1 hour after the dose.

Report in 1 week with the changes.

Sameer

sameervermani last decade
OK..I will need to order it so it will take a bit longer than 1 week. Thanks

I have been on Zoloft for 6 months now and I wish to get off it and transition to something natural. The reason I went on zoloft is because I would randomly get really intense panic attacks out of nowhere, and this gave me anxiety because I didn't know when they were going to come. Also before going on zoloft I became very paranoid that anything I did would get me high... not really sure why.
Thanks!

Tfunny,

Where are you located? I can help you find a
homeopath who knows how to treat panic
disorder, which it is better to have someone
expert in this area, bc sometimes you also
need counseling help with it.

It is also better to do this work with someone
in person or you can do skype or phone with
good people if you don't have anyone in your area.

When people get panic attacks, they transition
to becoming afraid of the panic attack itself,
which then creates more panic attacks. There is
always a reason for the original panic attack,
either it is a physical issue which triggers the first one
or a few then more go on bc people are then afraid.

Or it relates to some fear that comes quickly as
a split second thought and activates the fight
or flight brain pathway.

The first order of things is to have a physical and
dental check up to make sure all is in order. I know
several people who started having panic attacks, but
were unaware they had a tooth problem.
