Want to get off Zoloft and find right constitutional remedy Page 3 of 3

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I live in San Luis Obispo California. I have an appointment tomorrow with a doctor who has some knowledge in homeopathic medicine her name is Dr.Rees, and she takes my insurance which is a big plus. But I don't know if she is the right doctor for my symptoms

Hi,

ok I looked her up. She is an internist and knows Ayurveda,
acupuncture. You should get the checkup and also have
your teeth checked, unless you know there was some
major stress going on/trauma when you had the first panic
attack.

If not physically based, the key is in the very first panic attack.

Ayurveda is of course going to use herbs, which is not
homeopathy, if she does acupuncture on you that will help
your nervous system out. I would not do the homeopathy
with her bc unless you are trained in and specifically use
homeopathy in your practice around 50 percent of the time,
they just do not know how to use remedies in the right way.

A lot of people come on here who went to naturopath drs,
but the naturopath dr.s may have had only a few courses
in homeopathy and if so , the prescriptions are obviously
odd to homeopaths or to naturopaths who do a lot of
homeopathy with patients.

You cannot do two methods, like Ayurvedic herbs, chinese
herbs etc and the homeopathy. If me, I would get the check up,
if you like her and want to go with what she proposes and try
it , go ahead. You might ask her how many patients she has
treated with panic disorder.

If what she proposes does not help, just go down to Santa
Barbara and see Mary Aspinwall, a master homeopath. She
has done ptsd cases, panic attack cases, she is a master
homeopath, author, teacher, has over 22 years experience. She
will also work with you on the phone and is very capable
figuring out what you need by phone consults.

Alright thank you so much for helping me out I will let you know if Dr.Rees works out! If not I would need to find a homeopathic doctor who accepts aetna insurance. In the meantime would you be able to suggest any homeopathic medicine for panic disorder?

No, not without taking your entire case history and then tomorrow
if the Dr. gives you some herbs or chinese medicine it will not
work with the homeopathic medicine.

Homeopaths are not covered under the insurance unless you
go to a homeopathic MD -and the point is even if you had
a homeopathic MD that was on the Aetna provider list they may
not be really good at understanding the panic disorder.

Basically,, you want this gone, asap. So you want to find a person
that really understands this and has cured it, and Mary Aspinwall
has done that. She is even offering to do free cases for PTSD for
soldiers as a way of giving back.

If Dr.Rees does not work out, call Mary up and work out a payment
plan of some kind.

Take care,
