mucus problem

Hi to all,

I've been having a mucus problem in the back of my throat for about year and a half. I went to an ENT, and he gave me this medicine that gets rid of it, but I don't want to have to keep on buying that stuff, so I just take it off and on. When I stop, after a couple days, the mucus just comes right back. And after a month of so, it gets bad enough where I cough it up.
All this wouldn't be a problem, however, it makes it where it's really hard to talk much less sing. It seems to go away almost completely when I stop eating grass foods. Is there a way I could fix this?
Help would be greatly appreciated.
