Thrush in 9 month old infant
HiWe are on our 2nd round of thrush. My son (or I) contracted it first when he was 7 months old. He was on Nystatin for at least 3 weeks with weak results before we tried gentian violet. The gentian violet worked but 1 month later the thrush has returned.
The pediatrician doesn't want to try violet again due to it being a carcinogin. So we are doing the Nystatin again.
During the first round of thrush we were both taking bifidus, which we stopped about a week after completing the violet. I have been taking garlic capsules since. I eat a lot of sugar (esp. around Christmas) but have a reasonably healthy diet otherwise.
Please advise on safe homeopathic remedies for the thrush in my son.
