Anxiety and palpitations
Hi allWas wondering if anyone could help me. It all started last september when i developed a chest infection. I was given antibiotics, and as i suffer from asthma they gave me a seritide inhaler. I then developed sinisitus and mouth thrush. I also started getting palpitations, like a big thud in the chest which made me gasp for breath. I went to a&e and they told me it was a panic attack. OK, i did panic, but only because of the eptopic beat in the first place! I have been to the doctors and had blood tests and a chest x ray and a 1 minute ecg that were all fine. I am now booked in to see a cardioligist in March. I am now have recurrent palpitations, like a couple of thuds, and it makes me feel sick and dizzy, and scared. I think i may have now developed anxiety. I am still experiencing palpitations, couple of thuds in the chest that make me want to take a deep breath several times a day, and my chest feels bruised so when these palpitations happen it hurts. I also feel very tense all the time, my throat hurts, feels like there is a lump in it, my chest and back area feel very tight and sore .... i constantly worry about what is wrong with me, and think bad thoughts every day, like 'what is wrong with me' is it something serious, whats going to happen to me? What about my children? Because of these anxieties, I have become very irritable, and often snap at my children and husband because I am scared about my health. I just want to feel normal again, and start to enjoy life again without having these constant worries .... is there anything that could help me?
Your help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
