Obsessive
Hi, this is going to sound silly but recently I have been obsessing about a certain tv show. Just one part of it that keeps playing in my mind and I'm getting sick of it. I do get obsessions every now and then, it's not a constant thing, but when I do get them I get them badly and it takes over somewhat. I also obsess about my weight and the way my stomach looks. Again, it is not all the time but every so often. I know it is my perception of myself because deep down I know I'm not fat. When I was younger I did a lot of things in fours and would not be satisfied until I had done a certain thing 4 times. I'd say I had an avoidant personality also and have suffered from depression in the past. Basically it's these bouts of being obsessed with something, someone and myself, and persistant thoughts that I need help with.I have ordered Helleborus Niger as that is what the Remedy Finder suggested at the time. Anything else I can do or need?

Get a dilution of bach flower remedy white chestnut. Charge / Medicate water or sugar pills by adding a few drops of dilution. Sip water 4 times a day or take 4-5 pills 4 times a day.

Thank you for your reply :) I will try the White Chestnut but I have to say I have tried flower remedies for other things and they haven't really done anything for me. Is there a homeopathic remedy at all that could also help?

i have looked for your symptoms in the repertory for a remedy and there are so many. Helleb. is also there that you got from the Remedy Finder.
i think lyco or baryta carb may help you. Try to do as much analysis as you can. Don't try any remedy in high potency and in too many doses unless it matches you very closely.
i can't sail you through so many remedies. Somebody else may help. Good luck.
