For Bartholin Cyst Sufferers, TRY THIS! _{Page 2 of 2}

I was looking for home remedies for a Bartholin Cyst and came up this web site. I have an appointment on Wednesday with my Gynecologist to drain the cyst but I am hesitant to do it. I am taking an antibiotic that she sent me and I wonder if I can take the Silica at the same time as the antibiotic or if there could be bad side effect. Are there some medicines that can not be taken while taking Silica? I really don't want to have the surgery. I am trying hot compresses .

One may not take antibiotics while talking Silicea.

Merc. Sol and Mercurius Vivus should not be taken when taking Silicea.

I purchased Oceanic Silica from REd Algae at the health food store It has 108 mg of Silica and 200 mg of calcium. Is this good for the bartholin cyst and how much should I take.

Hi, I am 44 yrs old and I started getting these cysts when I was 22yrs old. Now that I am getting older they are comming on more frequent. In March of 2012 I had to have surgory because the cyst got to be the size of an orange!!! Well I got 5 more in different places on my labia since then. I had made it priority to figure out what it was thats doing this. I have experimented with several ideas. But the one that worked was when I tried treating it like acne. As soon as the cyst started to appear I put Proactiv refining face mask on it!!! It was gone in 3 days. Now if you waite till the cyst gets a little bigger to put the Proactiv on it it will take longer to go away. I told my GYN about it and he told me that I may be on to something!!! I had to share this with all you guys because I know all about the pain, discomfort and embarrassment these cyst come with. Just smother the cyst with Proactiv refining face mask as soon as it starts once a day when you get out of the shower and the cyst will not get painful or large. It immediatley starts to shrink inflammed area and goes away!!!

Can I just thank you all as out of blue I got a cyst on Saturday and was petrified. Read about the Silica complex and bought it from Holland. & Barrett(own brand) on Sunday and took 1 tablet 3 x per day. Also did the tea tree oil and witch hazel compress. Now my cyst is gone 3 days later. So grateful for you all sharing this remedy.

Remember, that after you are done with antibiotics,
please take a good probiotic ( find one that works
for you) preferably one with 8 strains. You have
to repopulate your gut flora for digestive health
and you should be taking the probiotic for at
least two months to do this.

This is the first time that I participate on forum but I had to share this with you ALL. I just expirienced one of this BC. I'M 50YRS in excellent health. This had happended to me before and I had to rush to have it lanced. What an agony!!!I was at the point of not been able to walk yesterday of so much pain and I didn't want to go to the doctor to have it lanced again. I came across this forum two days ago and I read from someone about DRAWING SALVE. I did some research on this on line to learn more and saw the good things about it ( although it's stinky) so I flew to get some!!! Found it at CVS. Went home, took a hot shower, then a sitz bath with just hot water and put some of the Drawing Salve with a pad on it. Slept with it. I did this for two days...let me just say that this morning I went to the bathroon to see blood coming out..( I thought, this cannot be my period!! I don't get them anymore ;) ) so I took a shower and behold, IT HAD BURST... and all that yucky stuff was COMING OUT!!! AND NO MORE PAIN!!! WHAT A RELIEF!!! I applyed as much pressure as I could to drain it more and too another sitz bath for 15 minutes. I decided to see the DR. today and she gave me antobiotics ( I'm trying to prevent an infection ) so I will take them anyway and put some more of the DRAWING SALVE for a few more days and hopefully this will go away!!! Man this was the longest week of my life. My BC started like a small grape on Monday of last week. By Friday I was unable to walk, sit or anything. Went to my doctor who gave me antibiotics but nothing for the pain.. I'm not sure why people don't realize how bad this thing hurts. Pain meds are needed!!! Thanks to this site I started trying all of the home remedies. The tree oil didn't work for me. It actually made matters worst for me. Although women have luck with this product.Witch hazel was ok but this morning Sunday I was ready to head to the emergency room. I hadn't slept and could barely walk. I read on the site a short blurb about black ointment and of course silica. Got my man to take me to the local homeopathy store. Grabbed black oil and silica around 3:30 pm. My BC was draining by 7 pm. OMG I was so relived I wanted to run though the house celebrating. I would tell anyone try silica and definitely some type of drawing salve. I have the black root. Can't wait to finally get some sleep tonight. I only have one question how long should I expect this to drain? Good luck ladies.

You may continue to take Silicea in the morning and evening until it drains substantially. It should not take more than 3-4 days. Later on you may take the remedy once a day or on alternate days.

Hi, ladies! I just gave birth to my son last February and because of his size and position, I was cut open.

3 weeks ago, when the stitch has completely healed (took about 8 weeks)I noticed a huge lump the size of an apricot near my vagina, close to my anus.

When my GYNO checked it, she said it was a Bartholin Cyst and that if it doesn't drain she would have to perform a surgery on it.

Now, am thinking this BC is probably due to the cut because I am a clean freak and would always make sure I am spotless.

Since I was just fresh out of a cut, getting another one is just out of question and plus, I have debts (labor and hospitalization fees).

2 weeks ago I was prescribed antibiotic even though it wasn't infected, but the cyst didn't really improve much until I started taking sitz baths.

It has shrunken to the size of a grape after about a week of Sitz Bath but it's tender. Not painful. Just uncomfortable. Still continuing with the Sitz Bath buts since it has shrunken, it hadn't really completely drained.

I really want to try this Silica Complex, but . . . I am breastfeeding. Would anyone recommend this to me?

It is good for your baby if you take Silicea 6x or 12x. There is no question of silicea doing him any harm. You may also take silicea 30 or 200 it is readily available.

I just want to thank all you ladies for sharing your problem. I have been so embarrassed to even talk to any able this. First off I search the internet to find an answer to what this weird knot was I find a few days ago when showering. Freaked out, being a virgin, STDs are out and found the name of this NEW medical issue to add to my list. Search how to rid myself of this dumb thing. Freaked again. Surgery?!? I don't think so. Then yesterday it start being irritating, and thinking to myself maybe I can lance it?!? So I search again for a way to rid myself of BUGGER! And to my wonder and relief. I found you alls posts! I had just changed insurance plans at work, having to find a new doctor. I had found a PA near my home that believes in a balanced treatment of a patient with nutrition, herbal, homeopathy, and medical science. Now I have something to come to the office with to ask the doctor again and reasons not be scared to talk about it. Thank ladies again for being BRAVE for others!

Hi i have Bartholin cyst by antibiotics it was raptured and some injury is there not bothered me much but Dr. told it will come again and i have to do surgery . it is only the solution of it I have read in this Forum about Silica can i take it how much and from where i can get it plz help i don't want it come again ....
