weak teeth 5 year old

I have a 5 year old son who needs some help. When I was pregnant with him I had a SEVERE staph ear infection and had antibiotics. I feel this effected him. He had dental surgery at just 2 years old. His tooth enamel is very weak. This involved antibiotics for an infected tooth and anethesia. He has not been vaccinated. He has no other major illnesses. My main concerns are his teeth and he has very bad 'growing pains' these wake him up crying and limping. His joints look swollen and feel warm in either his knee or ankle (it varies). He also has a hard time holding urine at night and day. His urine is very ammonia smelling and actually kills grass. He also wakes up puffy under his eyes if he has had leg pains.
Constitutional clues: He LOVES cold breakfast cereal and milk, cheese, pudding. He doesn't love to play outside or travel. He has always preferred to stay home. He will play by himself and is inquisitive and remembers what you teach him. Although sometimes you can look at him and say something and it is a blank stare in return - I think his brain gets foggy. He also has a habit of picking his nose and eating it (yuck!) this has become a habit. He has a dense muscular build, not alot of color to his face. He has coarse wavy hair. That's all I can think of for now!! Thanks

Hi,

We need more information to prescribe on.

Think of some odd symptoms, and describe his general behavior in greater detail.

Any fears ?

What are the homeopathic remedies you have already given, and in what potencies ? How many doses ?

Joe is scared to be upstairs alone - can't go to bed alone. He is the 3rd child of 4. Very sensitive to pain, cold, hurt feelings for sympathy and will cry loudly in a repetivite fake way. Yet he can be strong and brave under stress - he recently had stitches and a blood sample and delt beautifully with both. His voice is loud and he doesn't seem to understand how to be quiet or considerate of others. He doesn't like to run or excercise. he will be the child that comes in from outside on a beautiful day. The other day he was stung by a bee - cried loudly and wouldn't go outside because of bees. There was no apparant sting. He overheats easier then the other kids - his face will get red, hot and sweaty. He also likes to wear shorts and a short sleeve shirt (because he's hot he says - doesn't look or feel it to me) and it is winter outside. He is demonstrative when describing something and will use a loud forceful voice. His way of learning and describing is unique. He always has a different take on things. He also has a musical apptitude. As a baby he would notice the background music before anyone and will remember words to a song very quickly. He fidgets alot and does not sit still. Even when going to sleep he fidgets to keep himself awake. If given a chore to do he will be extremely slow and distracted and probably never get it done. I would say he has a very hard time focusing. He will be busy doing something and be listening and learning - if the subject is of interest to him. He seems to get leg pains if I give him a calcium supplement, he has had a vigorous day, or sometimes from pudding or cold cereal type foods. I think he benefits from Calc. flur. his finger nails grow to the point of needing to be clipped - otherwise they break off. I started giving him Silicea 6c 5 every other day about 2 weeks ago. I also bought kreosotum 30c and gave hime 2 dry doses of 3 and stopped because I wanted your input. Your way of dosing is above me and so exacting.

His stomach feels full after very little food - a few bites. He says his stomach hurts after eating sometimes. This has been for the last month or so. So he is eating often but little.

Lemme get back to you in a couple of days.

He also says 'my neck hurts' as in the throat side. This will mean he's hungry or can mean he's full. Sometimes his bowel movement is big and hurts. Othertimes skinny. I stated earlier that he has bags under his eyes after leg pains. I would say he always has some puffiness under his eyes and a little dark. It is much puffier after a leg pains night. He also has a cough that is lingering. It doesn't seem too significant mostly when he wakes in the morning. He says it hurts 'all over' when he coughs (but he is 5 yrs. old - so hard to know). I think overall his face has a drawn downward look and pale - although he has olive skin. He is very lean yet not skinny - muscular dense.

One more thing... The leg pains are usually on the right leg. I try to sing to him or tell him a story and he can't focus on anything - just cries loudly and repetitively until pain reliever takes effect. He will grab the joint and move the leg in and out, in and out - constant movement. Wants sympathy.

Please give him 3 doses of Silicea 30c equally spaced by 2 hours on a single day as below.

Dissolve 2 pellets of Sil 30c in a 500 ml spring water bottle. You can shake it gently after they have dissolved.

Give a capful from this bottle 3 times in one day, spaced by 2 hours. This is to be done for one day ONLY.

Let me know in 10 days after these 3 doses. I will look forward to your update.

Restrictions:

1/. Nothing should enter the mouth for 40 minutes prior to, or after taking the remedy.
2/. Do not touch the tablets with your hands, tip them into the cap of the container they came in and then into the water .
3/. Avoid coffee, tea (including green), and other sources of caffeine such as some fizzy drinks and large amounts of chocolate, except where this would cause a drastic change in consumption
4/. Avoid wearing perfume/aftershave, or exposure to anything with a strong smell while under treatment. This includes any and all essential oils, and incense.
5/. Avoid the consumption of excessively spicey foods
6/. The use of medicinal herbs, either as 'teas' or supplements should be avoided during Homoeopathic treatment, as should the use of over the counter medication, unless this has been recommended by an MD.
7/. Nothing of a medicinal nature should be applied to the skin

I gave hime the 3 doses this afternoon and evening. He had leg pains after the first dose and they became progressively worse with each dose. He was crying and crying - then they went away. I fear they will appear in the middle of the night - if so - do you have any suggestions to deal with them? I should not give him asparin - correct? As of right now - he is ok. I am asking just in case. Also, he mistakenly ate a mint 15 minutes after the last dose.

Hmm...nothing is to be done for a week or so.

If they get unbearable you can give acetaminophen.

I am curious what this means to you - he woke up trembling with pain and cold. I dressed him warmly and layed next to him. He was crying and said 'I wish I could take the pain and give it to my mom' and later cried 'I want my mom' - I was laying right next to him. Seemed delirious. I had to give him acetaminophen. I would love to hear what this means to you.

It means nothing to me right now, as this could be curative aggravation or could be 'wrong remedy' aggravating the underlying picture.

Too soon to say. Please update in 1 week.

This week has been vague. He had one night of less severe leg pains - no big deal. He strangely wet the bed 2 times for mid day nap (usually this only happens at night) and 1 time at night. However on the less obvious front - he has been helping on chores with a willing spirit and actually gets it done - this is new. I think his face looks better to. Not so puffy under the eyes and has had some color to his cheeks. He seems happier and not fidgety with repetitive movements. Currently he does have a stuffy nose a cough in the morning - as do his other siblings. OH! His appetite is better too. He is eating more and not saying his belly is full right away.

Good news :)

That was a curative aggravation.

Please wait for 1 more week, and report back at that time.

Hi - it's been another week. Joseph has not wet the bed at all! He has had leg pains prior to going to bed (they usually happened during sleep) I give him a tiny baby asparin and that takes care of it. In the last few days my husband and I feel he is not as present - starting to be in his own world or foggy brain again. He also is a reverting to a fidgety energy. Not as bad as the start but moving backwards I feel.

Tuesday night Joe was complaing this throat hurt - this is something he says alot and I don't really know what he means by it. This escalated to throwing up. He threw up middle of the night and had leg pains. The next day he had diarhea and once again leg pains in late afternoon. Then last night a fever of 101 developed and he still has it this morning. No one else in the family is sick and because it is incorporating - his throat hurting, leg pains, and stomach hurting - I am wondering if this seems related to the homeopathic he took or not. Can I give him some traditional chinese medicinal herbs for fever and cleansing or not interfere.

bohomama4 last decade
Do not give him anything, and just ride through it.

I think this is just the vital force throwing things to the surface.

Talk to me in 2 days.

Joe ate last night and kept it down. He slept until 10 a.m. this morning (really late for him) and was pretty good all day - ate a late breakfast. He started complaining that 'his throat hurt' this escalted to throwing up again tonight. Still no one else sick in teh family.

Let us wait longer.

We will intervene if this does not improve by Sunday.

Well, his cousin got the same weird flu bug so - not sure it was homeopathic related. Anyway he has wet the bed at night 3 times in the last week. This is ALOT!! He also is complaining alot and can't handle any stresses. He complained and fidgeted and cried when he woke from his nap yesterday and had a itchy mosquito bite on his ankle - this went on for nearly an hour. He also still says his throat hurts. He says this after taking a few bites of food. Or his belly hurts. I try to get him to describe this but he doesn't give details. I have tried placebo effect - doesn't take the pain away - I think it's real. His leg pains are better. He has had mild pains but not the screaming kind. If he lays still watching tv - his legs will hurt until he moves around. But also if he goes for a bike ride or walk with me his legs will hurt.

Joe isn't doing well. He has wet the bed 3 nights in a row. He also feels like running away at the slightest reprimand. He calls himself stupid and is so hard on himself for any little correction. He says 'I don't even belong in this family' we try to convince him otherwise but he seems really stuck in this mentality.

Hi boho,

I will analyze this and get back to you in a day or so.

sameervermani last decade
Please give him 3 doses of Phosphorus 6c, where each dose is 1 teaspoon.

Report in 5 days.

His legs hurt tonight too. He says the pain changes directions - it does hurt and then it doesn't hurt. He also seems to have a small wart above the right knee. If your recommendation is the same - Is it 2 pellets in 500 ml. of water again?

bohomama4 last decade
Oops left knee has the wart.

bohomama4 last decade
Tonights leg pains are really bad. He feels like he can't walk and should crawl. The pains were triggered by homemade ice cream eaten tonight.
