left & right shoulder bursitisi first started experiencing rt. shoulder back in 2002. no trauma or stress, just started hurting. went to ortho's & sports meds. had mri's & xrays which found nothing of significance.
received cortisone shot which helped but eventually stopped helping. the pain then went into my left shoulder as well as my left hip. i also have some sporadic rt hip sciatic pain. went to a neuro & an ortho. ortho said there was some inflammation in my rt shoulder bursar and recommended PT & gave me an anti-inflammatory. the pills didn't help and i did not go to PT due to excessive amount of co-pay for each visit. aleve & advil do not help w/the pain. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

-suffering on & off since 2002. sharp pains when i lift my arm up or down, reach across my chest to my back. pain is in both arms... below the shoulder joint.
-can't pinpoint the 'exact' spot of pain.
-no noted injury or trauma to either arm or hip.
-sciatic pain occasionally in right leg.
-being in pain keeps me from enjoying everyday life. can't be as physical when in pain, daily chores are more difficult.
-seems to be more affected by cold weather but i live in a hot & humid & sometimes dry location & i've been in pain during all those seasons.
-i eat healthy but i also eat some junk food. sweets are my vice.
-thirst is normal. i do drink a lot of water daily, no sodas, just coffee & crystal lite juice.
-hunger level remains the same.
-bm's are semi-normal. i've never had a normal schedule & this goes back to my childhood.
-i sleep good nowadays... used to have sleeping problems. have mild sleep apnea. i dream frequently, some are crazy & some are just normal.

-i'm tall, slender built
-menstrual cycles are normal. current use an iud.
