don't want to overdose
I was prescribed Lachesis 200c 5 pellets once a day for at least 2 weeks. While researching this remedy online I'm not sure this is the right remedy and i'm also very afraid to take too much. One person overdosed on this and now has neurotoxic problems. not sure what to do. I am also afraid of all the changes my body may go through. I am new to homeopathy i have only taken for acute problems not chronic (or long term).black-eyed susan on 2009-10-13
This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
you can write all your mental and physical symptoms here to have a cross check.
some homeopaths here will definitely see your case and give an opinion.
lachesis 200c should be taken in very infrequent doses.
taking it everyday for 2 weeks will amount to overdose and severe aggravations.

also are you more likely to experience bad reactions from the potency 200c or 9c?
will the recovery time be quicker with 200c or 9c?
Again thank you Rishimba for a quick response.

lachesis is indicated if the similar symptoms start after suppression of bodily discharges.
in your case, due to removal of your womb, the natural menstrual discharges have been suppressed. thus, you can try this remedy.
however, its not advisable to take continuous doses for 2 weeks.
you should just take LACHESIS 200C some three doses only. morning - evening - morning.
take the doses every 12 hours and in empty stomach. no food or water one hour before or after.
wait for a week for the effect to show. dont get impatient or dissapointed.
please report after 15 days.
