PregnancyI am looking to gather information ahead of time for if and when I get pregnant and give birth. I am interested in if there are any beneficial remedies to take to support a healthy pregnancy, not remedies to deal with pregnancy associated symptoms.
Also, anything beneficial to take to prepare the baby for a healthy and smoothe delivery?
Any remedies to take to keep labor progressing steadily and any remedies to take to ease the pain of contractions? I have read about Cimicifuga and Arnica and other remedies. I know that remedies are called for by the symptoms they match. Well I think you can see what I am looking for. Preventatives, things to keep on hand.
I am looking into home births and want to keep it as natural as possible, smoothe as possible, and safe as possible. I have a high tolerance for pain, but deep down due to a past of EXTREME labor-like traumatic menstrual cramps I am still a little gun shy and scared of the pain of giving birth. I can handle pain to a point, but my uterine area is sensitive still. Yes, I am currently being treated by a homeopath for this and the stuck energy is lifting and leaving from lots of past family abuse.
Anyone with any input is greatly appreciated so if I am ever blessed with a pregnancy I can stock my cuboard for the day of arrival.
Anyone else with any pregnancy/birth tips and hints,do's and dont's etc. is also greatly appreciated.

access health at this point in life(now)--treat homoeopathically totality of symptoms occuring --treat you as whole--do this before pregnancy and you on good start--allow self to get in place of well-ness -that you can be ok with---
also dietary adjustments according to what remedy you take and metabolic type---these things you can do
from conception through to weaning child--homoeopathy help greatly
always homoeopathy treat symptoms as they exist--no speculation

The first thing is to begin some FOLIC ACID. Women need this. The body is more prepared for pregnancy with this supplement.
Then VIT C and CALCIUM. (if you form gas, you have had enough vit C)(magnesium/calcium in the case of constipation.)
Find someone that knows how to do muscle testing so you will buy only what is good for your body. Some workers in health food stores know how to do this, and some chiropractors. (Kinesiology is a word for muscle testing also.)
BIRTHING REMEDIES IN GENERAL:
CANTHARIS (retained placenta)
KALI CARB (after labor)
Read up on the remedies and as time passes you will know which is needed. You may run across SECAL. I do not recommend this remedy except for repeated miscarrages. It helps reverse the miscarrage habit. If a woman thinks she may be pregnant, please do NOT use this remedy. It must be used before pregnancy.
Find a recommended mid-wife or if you are lucky, a GYN that will allow alternative medicines. There are a few around. SABRA sabragibsonhomeopathy.com

Thanks a bunch for your thoroughness and simplicity with your answers which always make sense. I worked in a health food store for 6 years so I value your nutritional/supplemental input as well, as they tend to slip from my mind from time to time.
