Allergic Reaction - Cracked Tongue Page 2 of 2

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I drink alot of water and as all bottled water comes from some municipal water supply,I have a filter on my fridge.
Summer 07 we were in a record drought. My house plants turned brown after watering and I looked it up.
Water toxicity from treatment chemicals in tap water.
I took a tap sample and a sample from my pool and my tap water had 5 times more chlorine and 10 times the ph.A public swimming pool would be obligated by law to close as these levels are caustic to the skin.
9-8-07 I fall ill and I mean going to die!! Vomiting dark green moss 24/7 wretching and pain througout my body so severe I really thought i would die.
From the 8th until my surgery on the 11th I lost 8 pounds.

I had to have my gallbladder removed at 43.
I never did fully recover and am two years and 16 days later still sick.

I received a letter from the EPA then stating that although there were trace amounts of lead, mercury and arsenic in my blood that was well within their allowable PPM's and it's okay.
They're saying that some poison is okay.

Last week they discovered a multi million gallon raw sewage spill at one of our rivers that supply water that's been undetected since July,it's September! and my tongue gets worse with each passing day as well as other issues.

Not only is our processed food filled with toxins now our drinking water is contmainated.

Makes me wish I drank.I could make my own moon shine. At least that would be sterile!

I have the same thing. Including the white 'sores' that form where my teeth touch my tongue. I have also been told that it's a fissured tongue, 'This something that a person is born with, but it develops at a later stage in a person life. There is no treatment for this condition, only to avoid certain foods, and it will last a lifetime.'. The strange, coincidental, thing is mine didn't develop until after my doctor put me on both the cholesterol and thyroid medication. I wonder if it's related to the hypo thyroid or cholesterol issue. Or maybe develops because of the combination of medications used to treat them.

Cracked tongue is related to hypothyroid in this case. Hypothyroid also causes heightened cholesterol levels.
I think your cracked tongue started as a result of hypothyroid process that already went on for a long while, even though treatment just started.
Another thing is overdosing hypothyroid medication which, paradoxically, can lead, again, to thyroid insufficiency. Dosing requires frequent revision with the doctor.

Try rosemary, it removes harmful metals from the body.
Also, try to switch to a toothpaste without fluoride.

Since tongue has to do with skin, eat foods rich in zinc. Visit gastro-entherologist to check for hypothyroidism. This condition causes too much keratin to collect in the skin, making it thick and dry. Since tongue also has similar tissues, it also can have to much keratin causing enlargement of the tongue. Those cracks or creases on the tongue can appear as a result of a big tongue trying to fit inside the mouth, but also the tissues of the tongue and of whole body affected by vitamins B, A, C, E, zinc, iodine and calcium deficiency which comes with hypothyroidism. Besides that, hypothyroidism causes fluids to collect in body tissues, one of them being tongue, that is why it can become swollen, and general weight gain can be present as well.
If cracks are not deeper than 3 mm, then it is OK, that is how deep papillae is anyway, fro 0.5 to 3 mm.
however, close attention has to be payed to health issues, which might help resolve the tongue problem, even if it is cosmetic problem.

This can also be due to a yeast infection.
