Hashimoto's Hypothyroidism
I need help with my thyroid. I have taken blood tests and my TSH is 6.18, the thyroglobulin antibody is 106, and the thyroid peroxidase antibody is 6500. I am only taking vitamins and minerals, and the doctors want to prescribe synthetic thyroid hormone.I want to get the antibodies reduced so that it will stop attacking the thyroid and I will feel better. My symptoms are: always cold (from the inside), constipated, very heavy bleeding with my period, very sluggish & sleepy/tired, dry skin, foggy thoughts, puffiness under eyes, and very hard to loses weight. I am 46 years old, and am generally very healthy. I am 5 feet tall, and I weigh 147. I practice yoga several times per week. I married and have two daughters, and a very busy/stressful life. If I get anxious, I would mostly crave cookies or breads. I have very little thirst, and I do not like to drink anything cold-prefer coffee, tea, or chai. I do not sweat very much at all. I usually sleep very soundly, but sometimes I will wake up many times in one night, & go right back to sleep. The vitamins I am taking now are: multivitamin, omega-3 fatty acid, probiotics, guggul, calcium, magnesium, & tumeric. I take acacia fiber 2 times per day. I have no major diseases running in my family.Any help that you give me would be so appreciated.Thank you.ciaobellaa on 2010-04-09
This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please take three doses of Calc Carb 200c at a gap of 4 hours for only one day (not daily) and report back after 15 days.
One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 4 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 3-4 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.
Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.
Please read my posts on the breathing exercises called as Anulom Vilom Pranayam and Kapalbhati Pranayam by following the links given below. Please practise these pranayams regularly for half an hour preferably in a garden early in the morning. You may practise at any other convinient time. The only restriction that you have to follow is not to do these exercises within 4 hours after meals. You can have meals not within 15 minutes after finishing these exercises.
