Hashimoto and Hypothyroidism

I am here looking for homeopathic treatment for Hashimoto and Hypothyroid issue I am suffering from.

I was diagnosed with Hypothyrodism some 7 years back. My T3 and T4 level were normal but my TSH levels were off the roof and they were more than 150 mIU/L. In the span of 7 years, I have experienced all short of symptoms associated with Hypothyroid, like hair falling, constipation, mind fogging, coarse voice, difficulty speaking etc etc. I started taking Thyronorm/Eltroxin strating with 50 mg. But based on my thyroid levels doctor asked me to increase the dose. Slowly slowly the dose kept on increasing and today I take 200 mg of Levothyroxin. If I try decreasing the dose, the TSH level have gone upto 250 mIU/L. I am sick of taking these allopathic medicines. But good thing about these medicine is Hypothyroid symptoms just vanish after a week of increasing the dose.

Recently, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's and started feeling pain in my neck area. I am afraid if I got some nodules. I am afraid that if i keep on the same track one day I might end up landing on the surgery table and docs removing my thyroid gland.

There is one more problem and I am not sure if it is related. My skin on upper hand and thigh has some sort of bumps. Something like chicken skin. I guess it is keratosis-pilaris. But not sure and haven't shown it to any dermatologist yet.

I am a 28 years old male. If any other information is needed please do let me know.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.

Please take three doses of Phosphorus 200 as follows and see how that affects in next 15 days (only 3 doses in 15 days).

day 1 morning
1st dose

day 1 evening
2nd dose

day 2 morning
3rd dose

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

I will update you after 15 days. Since I am in US, it might take a little longer as it takes time to procure homeopathic medicines here.

And I guess by 3 doses you mean, I have to take the medicine on day 1 and day 2 as you adviced. No more repetition.

You got it right. You should take only three doses.

Yesterday I got Phosphorous 200 CK, and took its first dose today.

You have asked to procure other homeopathic medicines above. I have a question, the potency 200 means 200 C or 200CK? And which and when I need to take?

And you have asked me to restrain from taking coffee, raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes. So I have few questions related to them.
i) Can I take tea in moderation?
ii) Can I take onion/garlic after properly cooking them?
iii) If there are any other abstinence?

These remedies may be needed in future depending on your feedback.

Tea in moderation is ok. Cooked garlic/onion is ok too. Please avoid food if any that you are sensitive to. If such sensitivities create any reactions during the treatment period we may get confused.

After taking Phosphorous 200, after 7 days here is my update :
1) For few days pain in my neck vanished but it is back again after 7 days.
2) I am experiencing excessive hairfall. I am shedding my hairs like a cat :(.
3) Sometimes, I do feel little tired. Apart from that a little swelling on face but it appeared twice only.
4) There is no improvement to bumps on my upper hand and thighs. And got a boil also in my groin area :(. Not sure if has something to do with Hashimoto or Hypothyroid.

Please do note that I have stopped taking Levothyroxin.

Another week passed by and here are my updates :
1) The chicken skin kind of issue is still there. I am feeling itching also. Please see the attached photograph for reference.
2) Hair fall is still happening. I might have lost that much hair that I haven't lost in last 5 yrs. The hair density is also has gone very low.
3) I am still having pain in my neck area.

Do I need to revert back to Synthroid to control these issues ?

Please help me.

You should revert back to Synthroid. Let us see how that goes in another 15 days with Synthroid.

What about chicken skin issue? I heard we have good remedy for skin issues in Homeopathy.

It has been more than a month that I started taking Synthroid again. Apart from less pain in my neck area, I didn't see any improvement. I am still losing my hair(almost 300-400 a day). They come out with very little pull. Looks like chicken skin issue is worsening day by day.
Any suggestions?

I am taking NT for thyroid, WP 81.mg , I have hashimoto's and also being 53 yrs experiencing perimenopause. My last menses was in Jan.2017. Years thirty years ago I did homeopathy for my allergies in Brazil. I was wondering if homeopathy would work for me now.

My Symptoms :

Irregular sleep cycle
Hot flashes around the clock day and night
I have frequent vowel movements
occasional head aches
Recent return of allergies
Weight gain. ( went from 130-170 over five year cycle) weight fluctuates from 168-170 .
In past few weeks I have been feeling sluggish after work ( around 4 or five)
Occasional heart palpitations.

I have strong thick hair and pink healthy skin. I am not having any difficulties with either.

I would love to hear some thoughts on how homeopathy could help me at this time.I have used accupuncture and yoga in the past with good results.
