Sir,
Gave her sulphur today morning as suggested by you.
Though, yesterday mid-night she had motion - loose, offensive. No motions today so far.

UPdate - motion subsequently has been fine. Appetite better. Though she has been having watery nasal discharge since morning...overall yes improvement.

Coryza is still there...stuffed nose is troubling her esp while sleeping (ends up broken)..also she has been coughing for two days, often pretty chesty, rattling, ends up with cough in her mouth.. is it that the infection is getting drawn out with sulphur (coughing has started after sulphur)? would appreciate thoughts.

Stop Sulphur.
Try to hydrate as much as possible.
Report 24 after last dose of Sulphur i.e. tomorrow morning.
Infection is still there and now producing upper respiratory symptoms or may be infection infection occurred causing this.
Tell child's weight.

Child's weight - ~10kgs.
Had given her only one dose of sulphur in the morning as suggested, this was on Fri. Haven't given her since then..

Sir, gave her Nux Vomica early morning (could not give her late night as she had slept).
Today coughing was really bad in the morning..almost non-stop for 5-10 minutes (at times with dry hacking sound)...nasal discharge continues. Coughing during the day is more than yesterday
Would report if any improvement with Nux v.

Oh, Sorry I do not emphasized you to give it only at night.
Remember for future, Nux Vomica acts best if person goes for good sleep after taking it.
However, otherwise overall how child is looking.
What about appetite.

Overall she is fine. Appetite much better than what it was few days back. She is active and playful.
Should I repeat Nux V. again today before she goes to sleep tonight?

Yes you can give Nux Vomica before sleeping.
Take a look in her throat for any redness.
Try to hydrate as much as possible.
Do not bother about nasal discharge, by this body is eliminating virus/bacteria too.

Not sure if this has a bearing..I also have a sore throat since yesterday. It started with hoarseness/ irritation and today there is a lot of throat pain, irritation, swollen glands, difficulty in speaking (end up coughing), dry/ barking cough and coryza (egg-white discharge) with watery eyes...though i guess she had the infection before I did..

Dr Kumar, sorry for repeated queries..by now my daughter has a continuous runny nose, coughing is deep, chesty, rattling. Frequency of coughing has increased. Also, when she begins coughing she continues to do for some time..

actually she has worsened by evening and hence I'm a bit worried..coughing is coming on frequently and crying aggravates it.
Since she has developed cold/ cough she wants to be rocked to sleep..

Best option would be to give Allium Cepa 30C three times a day.
Second best option is to give her Pulsatila 30c again if you do not have Allium Cepa 30c.
Do you have Belladona 30C. You can give her Belladona 30c too if not improve by Pulsatila.

Sir, I did not have Allium Cepa, I gave her Pulsatilla last night.
today morning there is improvement in coughing - frequency is less, not rattling as much.
Since i can procure Allium CEpa today, shall i giver her Allium Cepa or continue with Pulsatilla.

If symptoms got worse again then start Allium Cepa three times a day.
You can give Pulsatila one dose every third day for about 15 days.

After the initial abatement with Pulsatilla, there has been no further improvement over the last 3 days.
She still has occassional coughing which is chesty & rattling. Congestion is very much there - even if she laughs out loud or cries, the chest begins to rattle. While sleeping here breathing (when felt at the back) rattles. Cold though less, is still there...finds it difficult to get comfortable while sleeping.

I will be out of station so would be unable to until Tuesday.
As child is unable to expectorate sputum, she is taking time to fully cured.
ANTIM TART 30c can also be considered if Psorinum do not cause any consideration.

Since Dr Rakesh is unavailable till Tuesday..I'm hoping someone else following would reply to this thread..

Oh, glad you are back. Could hold off giving her antibiotics.
I gave her Puls 200c on Sat. Though seemed to have some improvement in rattling in chest, by evening she had fever and she was very cranky.
Given that Calc Carb had helped her fever last time and since it was 15 days since the last dose, gave her calc carb 200 along with Ferr phos. Monday morning fever was very low though by evening it has risen again.
In between during the day gave her licorice water mixed with milk..
Yesterday mid-night, she vomitted twice (immediately after milk)..it was smelly/ sticky mixed with milk..also during the night had motion. her sputum (whenever there is some) is white & frothy..thus cough not yet ripe.
Today morning there is no fever, cold is much less. Less rattling..
Pls advice if anything is to be given..
