High Blood Pressure

My family has a history on the maternal side of high blood pressure. My grandmother's died when my mom was 16 of a stroke and my mother has always dealt with high blood pressure. My mom's blood pressure has been much higher than normal since she had my baby sister almost 3 years ago, sometimes getting as high as 200/100s. When "normal" she is still in the 140/90 range. Anyhow I am just wondering other than telling her to lose some weight and eat better what kind of homepathics/herbs can I recommend to her to help moderate her blood pressure.

Thanks for any help offered.
