DR Kadwa : plz see flu symptoms

Dear Kadwa,
Can u plz suggest soem remedy ( preventive as well as control) for flu like symptoms. Actually I live in Delhi. Here viral n dengue/ swine flu is spreading like anything. In my family aslo my dad and some other family member catch flu like symtoms.
symptoms are
1. fever normally 100°
2. cough, cold
3. headache/bodyache
4. tiredness

plz suggest soem remedy to cure them.
If possible plz suggest soem remedy to prevent attack of flu virus.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.

Those who are suffering with these symptoms may take Bryonia 30c thrice a day for few days. If complaints aggravate after rest, Rhus Tox 30c may be taken instead of Bryonia.
If there is no improvement in symptoms another remedy should be explored on the basis of prevailing symptoms.

I have heard about gelesium. Can I take Gelisium 30c in wet dose ( as mentioned in one of the post here) as a preventive measure. Actually today I myself seeing some flu like symptoms.i have suddenly caught common cold when I get up in the morning with headache.

Please suggest accordingly.

Yes. Gels., Ars., Phos., Merc. or any remedy on the basis of totality of symptoms.
You may take Ars as you are a chilly person.

Dear doctor,
i have catach the flu inspite taking the medicines mentioned.
fever was 104°.
cough/cold
severe headache/bodyache
i took some antibiotic and paracetamol as prescribed by local doctor for 2 days.
but fever is still 101°.
problem is i could not tolerate antibiotics. I vomit when i eat something.
Can u suggest some other remedy?
till now i am taking ars/ gels both.

2. My sister and her husband also show same flu symptom.

Thanks a lot for the advise. I am better now. yesterday i gave my sister bryonia 30 c and she responded well.
Please tell me in this scenerio is there any need to take the medcine as prescribed by you?

one more thing I just find on this site a discussion on Dengue by dR pankaj. since we live in delhi and here dengue fever is spreading so Can me and my family take the preventive medcine as mentioned below.
please suggest if you have some other preventive medicine in mind.

' To the baby ...one pill of Eup. Perf. 200 and one pill of Rhus Tox 200 (interval of one hour)...morning and evening for 2 days.
To the 10 year old...two pills...rest same'.

Dear Doctor,
I still have some confusion.
Can we take preventive medicien for Dengue Eup. Perf. 200 and one pill of Rhus Tox 200 or we need to take them only after showing some symptoms?
I am in fear as dengue cases in delhi are on rise.
