Treatment of the current Flu Virus which starts with a Sore Throat.

Treatment of the current Flu Virus which starts with a Sore Throat.

This Flu hit Sri Lanka about 10 days ago and the symptoms start with a feeling of fullness in the throat with a buildup of Phlegm.

Within 12 hours of infection the patient feels as if there is a red hot poker in the throat accompanied by a cough.

The therapy at this stage is to use Bryonia 200 in the Wet dose. The water is gargled and swallowed every 2-3 hours and the virus will usually be aborted in 12 hours. It is essential however to take the remedy for 24 hours after the symptoms leave the patient.

The virus sometimes migrates up into the nose causing the symptoms of a cold with Coryza.

The therapy at this stage is to take 3 Ferr phos tablets every 3 hours till the nose is clear and a reduced dosage is taken the day after..
