Premature Ovarian Failure

Hi Again,

I though I may as well post my other question - I was diagnosed with POF/Early Menopause suddenly at 30 yrs old :( I am now 34 and have been on HRT for the past 2 years. My menses ceased at around 29/30 and my FSH was through the roof. They found absolutely no reason or cause for this. I have never had surgery or any kind of disease it was just sudden. Of course I was told I could not have children unless donor egg and may spontaneously ovulate (2-5% lifetime chance). This has been vry devastating as my husband and I would like for a baby. I am wondering if there are natural alternatives to HRT and also something that may assist me to ovulate despite my low chances? I have no other symptoms, in fact I had no symptoms when I was diagnosed other than my menses had ceased for over 8months which is how I was diagnosed after 3 consecutive blood tests over 6 months which showed my rising FSH levels. Any help would be much appreciated. Kind regards..

Nothing aggravates my suffering as I am not suffering. I simply have early menopause which I have to take HRT to prevent Estrogen loss due to my age. Nothing aggravates it as i dont have any symptoms because of the HRT. If I stop the HRT after about 3 months I will start to have night sweats and very dry thinning of the vagina.

Periods were always irregular, not heavy just normal amount and normal cramps until they ceased at 29/30 yrs of age for no reason.

My mucus congestion also affects me and my breathing at times, particularly in the morning when I have to try and get it all out, I have tried Fenugreek for mucus congestions but doesnt do too much to help.

You have another post about chalazion. Please put the details on this thread. It'd be much better to have a remedy to cover all these issues.

Will get back to you after studying your case.

Ok am bumping my chalazion thread to here - have had chalazion on left eye for few months now, am doing hot compresses, baby shampoo and taking silica 6 capsules as per advice of doctor on this thread - seems to be working so far and chalazion has reduced in size and redness..

A few questions for you:

You have talked about mucus and congestion esp. in the morning. Can you describe the group of symptoms in detail? Also include cause, origin point.

How do you get affected by heat or cold?

Describe your nature of work?

Any peculiar symptoms?

Any thing you have left out like you left out the chalazion earlier?

Hi Maheeru,

Are these questions related to the POF which is the biggest issue I have?

Yes I have mucus congestion, particularly in mornings and I cough a lot during day due to mucus - symptoms is detail, my nose will run and be very stuffed up and I will have to cough up the mucus till it comes out, this is very embarrasing but has to be done. I am unsure of the cause, dust perhaps? OUr house is very clean I clean it everyday but there is still dust, we also have an indoor cat. We are moving soon as we live in a concrete apartment and dont get much fresh air which I believe attributes to the congestion as when I am at work I am ok apart from some coughing in the day if I drink somethign with milk or eat something similar like yoghurt. It seems to come on whilst I'm sleeping!

HOw I am affected by heat or cold - I love the heat I could stay in it for hours, I just love warm weather and the cold well same as everyone else, I get cold! Not really affected one way or the other, other than I prefer warmth as it makes me feel at my healthiest.

My nature of work is an Executive Assistant or secretary. I work in an office 5 days a week 8 hrs a day. Administration duties.

Peculiar Symptoms, only the mucus and the chalazion which appeared few months ago, which has reduced considerably with the silica you prescribed.

I have left nothing else out, I am fairly normal otherwise :o)

Hi

Since homeopathy treats an individual rather than a named condition, it does pay to analyse every associated condition you have got along with POF. It might take time and more than one remedy to tackle your POF, please be patient and be regular in follow ups.

First remedy you need to take is Sulphur 30c.

One pill or drop early in the morning in empty stomach one hour before brushing for 7 days. If you notice any strong reactions stop with that dose.

After a week, you need to observe changes for 2 to 3 weeks and then report changes.

Guidelines:

1) Try to avoid taking coffee, tea, alcohol on the day of medicine and a week following the medicine.

2) Try to avoid the exposure to mint based substances, camphor based substances and also strong smelling substances including incense and strong perfumes.

3) Stop with the dose that produces marked or significant improvement or aggravation and report appropriately.

4) Do not handle the pills(if drops use a disposable exclusive dropper) with hand. Tip the pills using the cap.

5) Do not take any other homeopathic medicine during this duration until further updates and avoid all OTC medicines and supplementation except the medicines prescribed by your physician and emergency medicines.

6) Do not apply any external medicinal application if there's some skin issue after taking homeopathic medicine.

Hi, am I to stop taking HRT at this time of taking the sulphur? Is this to help with congestion or ovulation? I am wondering should I be taking sepia 6c?

If you want you can start this protocol when your HRT dosage ends.

You can also take the homeopathic medicine along with your doctor prescribed medicine. Give a gap of one and half hours between conventional medicine and homeopathic medicine.

Homeopathic medicine will work over your constitution and help with all issues.

Do not take any other homeopathic medicine while you're following my suggestions. However you're free to choose between suggestions. So if you'd like to take sepia 6c, you're free to do so but do not mix more than one suggestion at a time.

Hello maheeru,

When should I cease taking the silica 6c? I have been taking forvtwo weeks now and the chalazion is almost gone, tho still there, very small now ...should I keep taking the pills?

Tr15hi last decade
When the chalazion is gone, stop silicea 6c. Then after a week you may start on sulphur. Do not worry if chalazion is not gone entirely, the remedy i have suggested can also help with this.
