Alcohol

I am an alcoholic and have been trying to stop drinking for many years. I want to make a homeopathic solution to cure my alcoholism. I have been drinking less and less everyday. But last night, I took a shot of vodka and mixed it with 10 shots of water. I shook it in a bottle and repeated this 10 times.

I drank one shot of this solution and I felt more drunk than ever before. I blacked out and woke up vomiting. Did I make too potent a preparation? I don't understand how drinking less vodka made me more drunk but I don't want to feel so sick like this again.

Should I only mix the shot of vodka with 10 shots of water so I don't get that intoxicated?

Please advise.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
This is not the way to cure your alcoholism. Do you believe that Vodka caused you to become an alcoholic?

This is not how people become alcoholics. It is a culmination of all the problems in your life, probably those stemming from childhood, plus a inherited family 'taint' of some sort (what we call a miasm in homoeopathy).

Alcohol didnt make you an alcoholic, you were one even before you started drinking, as any of the various programs will reinforce when you join them. This is our understanding as well - the person is suffering, the alcohol is just a way of surviving that suffering. You can take away the alcohol but the person with the problem is still there, and must still be healed.

There are 2 things you must do if you want to take the homoeopathic road to cure.

1. Join a program. I cannot stress enough how important this is. Get support from people who have been or are going through the same kind of problem with addiction.

2. Find a qualified and experienced homoeopath who treats using traditional methods (Single remedy, Law of similars, Minimum dose, Direction of cure, Miasmatic roots - they will know what these are if they use them).

Excellent advice above from brisbane.

I would also recommend that you take 1 dose of Arnica 30c in the Wet dose twice daily as it has helped many Alcoholics to QUIT the habit.

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:

Order the remedy in the Liquid pack in Alcohol, also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard at least 6 times before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this enhances the effect of the remedy on the user.

I am copying below an extract from my website on Arnica pertaining to Alcoholism and Smoking:

ALCOHOLISM 30C
Many Alcoholics have confirmed that they lose their craving for that next drink within a few days of starting on this remedy. Many have been able to stay dry for months after starting on the remedy which is taken twice daily.

SMOKING 30c

http://www.abchomeopathy.com/forum2.php/71302/

I have received reports from chronic Chain Smokers who have in some cases been smoking 40 cigarettes per day that after a few days on Arnica 30 they noticed a marked decrease of their craving for a smoke. A few smokers have been able to quit the habit.

Also stop experimenting with your method of 'potentizing' Vodka as the result you reported agravated your problem.

Do you think that i may have 'potentized' my vodka by diluting it too much? Could that be the reason that I felt more intoxicated than if I just had drank the vodka by itself without diluting it?

I don't want to make the same mistake again, thanks for any response.

You must be sober to read and understand my advice if you are interested in Quitting Alcohol.

I cannot understand how your experiment could have aggravated your condition but as long as you are interested in a possible cure you must read my advice which I shall copy below again:

Joe,

Today I made a 30c dilution of whiskey this time to help with the withdrawals. I only put 1 drops of this solution via tincture in a glass of water. I also gave some to my girlfriend and we're both EXTREMELY intoxicated right now. I can't believe that such a small amount of alcohol mixed with so much water could be so potent, but i've never been this drunk in my life. This is definitely the power of homeopathy. I didn't realize that diluting 1 part vodka in 10 parts water and repeating that process 10 times could make such a potent alcoholic concoction.

Can this work with coffee? I usually drink coffee in the morning. Can I take one drop of coffee and dilute it in 10 parts water and make a more potent coffee? Coffee is so expensive here that making a strong dilution would help save money.

Your case interests me as I believe that you are genuinely interested in QUITTING Alcohol, which I presume has consumed your life up to today.

I note that your GF is also into alcohol and it will be my pleasure to help you both, if your GF is willing, to kick the habit. You must realize however that this process will be long and hard and it is in your hands to make up your mind if you both wish to follow my therapy, to do so.

I must inform you that I literally do not know the taste of hard liquor but I do take a small glass of wine about thrice weekly as at my advanced age of 82, I feel that it does me some good especially after my exercise routine which I do at least 5 times per week for 45 minutes. You may like to know that I do not take any drugs whatever and only take 1 dose of Arnica 30c in the Wet dose just before bed. My BP is

That is not the power of homoeopathy - homoeopathy is a healing art. You are simply getting drunk again, just using one of our old alchemical procedures to do so.

I am sure it will mean nothing to you since you are more interested in getting high than making yourself well, but homoeopathy is a system of prescribing to remove symptoms. When you are actually interested in getting well, perhaps someone here can help you. Until then I don't think anyone wants to hear your stories of getting off your face on potentized alcohol.

Get in a program now. Seek help from people who understand what it is like to be trapped by alcoholism.
