asthma in kids
Hi. I have 13 year old with dry asthma, mostly when he's feeling hot, at night or during exertion. And a 10 year old with wet asthma, very allergic with rhinitis and food allergies. I was able to read through some helpful suggestions here but I can't seem to find them now. The natrum sulph and arsenicum album seems to help the 13 year old who is now off the seretide, but not the 10 year old with wet asthma and allergies. Any suggestions? Can u provide with some more details of your second child. Like onset- how does it start, duration- since how long, aggravating factors, ameliorating factors- in food, weather, dust, ticks n mites,exertion; when is it more in which part of the day?if there is any expectorant what is the color, consistency , quantity and probably also the taste of it. Any family history of similar or other problems? How is the weather throughout the year where u stay? It will be easier to prescribe knowing some more details...

His asthma started a year after a bout with bronchial pneumonia at age 5. Weather change seems to be a factor for him, especially when it's cold and windy, which leads me to believe he's sensitive to pollen. He's allergic to shellfish.
The phlegm is mostly white/clear. He doesn't expectorate much but it drips when he has rhinitis. His rhinitis can be triggered by anything, but mostly cold. He gets rhinitis when the airconditioning is too cold, but finds it too hot without as well. The rhinitis then leads to wheezing. Sometimes it's very sudden, like he chokes on his phlegm or saliva and asks for nebulization.
Yes, I had the same kind of asthma as a child.
Where we stay it's just raining or hot, but we are going through an extremely hot summer now.
I hope this is enough. Also, we do not currently have 6c of natrum sulph available and I have to order abroad. Can we use 30x?
